The Aussie-inspired cafΓ© serves a range of delicious and healthy dishes, using ingredients that are carefully sourced and recipes that can accommodate to varying dietary requirements. Carrotsticks & Cravings aims to be the spot for the breakfast and lunch crowd or if you are just looking for a post-workout meal or a weekend brunch location. With four categories in the food menu, from Morning Specials to Bowls, Open Herb Sourdough and Sandwiches, there is definitely something to kickstart the healthy lifestyle.

We shared the outlet-exclusive Stanley Breakfast for 2 ($46) which comes with a platter of Israeli salad, sourdough slices, labneh cheese, roasted eggplant with hummus, falafel, avocado with feta, cream cheese puff pastry and a choice of either smoked salmon or leg ham. This wholesome platter is also served with a choice of two eggs (poached, scrambled, sunny side up or omelette) and two coffees that will surely kickstart your day at the best possible manner.

For desserts, we had the Peanut Butter Slice ($6) of almond meal, cocoa, dates, coconut oil, peanut butter and dark chocolate, a filling but sweet ending to the meal. If you are into the liquid diet, @carrotsticksandcravings has a range of smoothies and fruit juices like the Protein Wake Up Call! ($12) and Immunity Green Juice ($12.50), the former a good protein supplement for a post workout boost while the latter contains fresh spirulina, celery, green apple and lemon to refresh and awaken your senses in a good way.

Hiked up to the outskirts of Dempsey to try this al fresco, family-friendly, western home-style type brunch spot. Had the Green Shakshouka ($18 + $6 goat cheese), which was served in a soup bowl of spinach, kale, pesto and cream base, garnished with goat cheese and pumpkin seeds. It looks weird but it’s absolutely worth a try. Hearty, nutritious, comforting. Portion is good. Sourdough for dipping is impeccable. Ambience is a bright, pastel, flowery farmhouse that's all around feel-good. I will be back to try the rest of the menu!!

Carrotsticks and cravings means business when they say superfood salad. Just look at all that colour! Don’t you already feel happy looking at it HEHE. My favourite parts of this salad would be the pomegranate, crunchy chopped almonds, the smooth hummus smeared onto the sides and generous half avo πŸ₯‘

Also ordered an organic red velvet latte ($8). Was honestly expecting something dark red in colour but I guess maybe cos it’s naturally coloured with beetroot hence it looks pink instead. The drink was just alright, the taste was predominantly milky which overpowered the chai/beetroot.

Enjoyed this with a chope 30% voucher (otherwise original price would be $18 + $8 for top up for onsen eggs and smoked salmon, kinda pricey yea)

This dish is exactly the totally white girl must-have brunch. Sourdough that is crunchy at the edges and soft in the middle, topped with LOADS of avo chunks and a touch of hummus. Onsen eggs were sadly not runny though. But overall, this brunch in the lush greenery of Dempsey, tucked away from the crowds, was so so enjoyable 😌

Food here centers around healthy eating, using clean, healthy ingredients and superfood. Nice environment for kids to wander around freely. Relaxing and casual ambience. Suitable for families with kids.

Complete with a trampoline and extensive food options for both adults and kids, this quaint spot is ideal for a lazy weekend brunch with the fam. Go straight for their flavourful Smashed Avo ($18) with dukkah, a crowd favourite. Otherwise, the Meredith Goat's Cheese with Thyme Roasted Mushrooms ($18) is a killer alternative with goat's cheese, roasted portobello chunks and sprouts on sourdough. Wash it down with a Flat White ($6) and you're golden.
