Ban Heng Teochew Porridge (Northpoint City)

The best ways to eat Teochew porridge, I find, is always with family and friends. Then only do you get to indulge in an array of dishes :) With Teochew porridge, you’d never feel guilty indulging in them because the “clean feeling” you get from the porridge balances it out ;)

One of the better Teochew porridge places around, that doesn’t burn a hole in your pockets. Dishes are pretty tasty overall, and the porridge soup is great.

Expected better since its Ban Heng but was deeply saddened by its quality of its food and the steep pricing. Don't know how it survive there for so many years.🤣🤣🤣
Not say the food not nice, its okay and got taste. The only problem is the food are cold, icy cold, like in the arctic zone liddat. Wahhh...but henggg the porridge and rice was hot, can do heat exchange with the dishes, else I will suffer more from my cold.🤡❄
Steamed Egg - Classic, smooth & light savoury.
Minced Meat - Spicy & tasty.
Potato - Standard starchy soy taste.
Broccoli - Crunchy savoury.
Braised mushroom - Soft & fragrance.
If only all these dishes are hot, will be so much better.😢

Teochew porridge, with my fav braised egg tofu (always), chilli clams (surprisingly good with its spicy sauce), Kung Bao chicken and vegetables in oyster sauce. Never thought I'd say this, but yes, enough of burgers and fries. For now.
