Teochew fishball noodles have always held a special place in my heart โ familiar flavours, childhood afternoons. I still remember my mum tabao-ing it back from the nearby food centre for lunch when I was a kiddo. Simple, satisfying. This one? It got a firm nod of approval from her โ and that says everything. โค๏ธ

This popular Teochew fishball noodle stall is hidden at the estate of Pandan Garden, which can only accessible by bus or drive there.
Yet lots of the nearby residents would love to grab their breakfast here in the morning, especially over the weekend.
Came on weekend morning just after they opened for the day, the tables already mostly occupied.
I waited patiently for my order to be call for collection, which was about 20 minutes. But the wait is totally worth it.
I love their fishball so much, chewy and delicious. Perfect match with their noodles that comes with excellent taste of vinegar and chilli sauce.
Feeling over the moon about this bowl of fishball noodles with extra bouncy handmade with โค๏ธ fishballs, meatballs and crispy fried lard bits with perfectly cooked mee pok (and lots of black vinegar!).
The side dish โ signature prawn roll is highly addictive and a must-order. ๐คฉ

Had wanted to eat this fishball noodles ever since I watch FoodKing doing a review for this place. But couldn't make it here easily as they only opened during working hours and are closed on Sunday.
The fishballs was so soft and springy and flavourful, u could cut it in half easily with your chopstick.
The meatballs were also soft and springy.
The mee pok soaks up the chilli and vinegar well.
The abalone was fleshy and adds an umami taste to the entire dish.
Despite living in the West, this is actually BB's first time having Ah Hua Teochew Fishball Noodle @ahhuateochewnoodle at their shop! Initially thought $6 is a bit pricey for M portion but the portion turned out to be pretty generous. All the good stuff is handmade from scratch by Uncle Ah Hua & Jean, from the springy soft fishballs that are different (fresh & more fish paste: flour ratio) from your usual commercially made ones to bouncy & crunchy mentaiko prawn balls that are good additions to your home steamboat. โช๏ธ๐ The mee pok is tossed well in the ketchup/pork lard mixture, though the texture could be more al dente (probably my fault because I took too long to feed my phone camera๐).๐ โฃ

If you still feel peckish or want something to share with family or friends, you can get a bowl of their handmade Yong Tau Foo.โฃ
