I tried their ๐ฏ๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐ ($16) which is a brown butter hot honey, baby romaine, pickles, comeback sauce, and sesame potato bun. The thick thigh fried chicken patty was juicy and crispy and slathered in delicious brown butter hot honey. Thereโs a nice kick to the spice. The pickles and baby romaine balanced out the chicken to make it less cloying. I felt that the sesame potato buns were slightly dry. Other than that, it is a solid fried chicken sandwich. This is a saucier version of their previous Crispy Hot Chicken sandwich.
must-try dish on their menu is the ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐๐. I must say it is the best Apple Galette Iโve tried to date. Crispy caramelized puff pastry topped with Granny Smith, Tahitian vanilla, and cassonade sugar. I love the thin flaky buttery crust, tender baked apple, and crunchy cassonade sugar. The crust to apple ratio is perfect. My family devoured this pie in less than 12 hours which says a lot. Best eaten warm and topped with Vanilla ice cream.
The must-try dish for me is the ๐ซ๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ($24) which is red snapper carpaccio garnished with Yuja marinated seaweed and dotted with Barley Makjang. Super light and refreshing, and the flavors are so well balanced.
The ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ($16) is a blend of creamy mascarpone cheese with sweet Suritae beans and topped with chive oil. Love the crispy oven-baked sourdough topped with creamy, sweet, and savory mascarpone.
Another dish we had was the ๐ผ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐. Two pieces of unagi sandwiching rice in between. Best eaten with a sheet of crispy seaweed. Perfect rice to unagi ratio.
I had the ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐, which is named after @singaporelicious, a Toro-Taku Makizushi topped with Bafun Uni, Negi-toro, and homemade marinated egg yolk and sprinkled with caviar and gold flakes for finishing touches. So indulgent, Iโll take another box for myself next time.
I was less intrigued by the ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ but it turned out to be better than the Rice Crispy Fried Chicken Bagel. Thick slices of salted beef, mustard, mozzarella, pickles on plain bagels. The mustard and salted beef packed a punch of flavors which was lacking in the other bagel.
The ๐ด๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐ ($4.50) consists of 4 mini bo lo buns. I enjoyed the bigger counterpart as I find it more fluffy and moist. Worth the wait and worth a try!!
I was so most excited to try ๐น๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐. Rice crispy fried chicken, shiso, pickled radish, yuzu dressed slaw, and sesame seed bagels. Imagine chicken coated in rice crispies then deep-fried? Sadly, this bagel was underwhelming. It was bland, to say the least. It lacked some sort of spice or more seasoning. Worth saving your $20 and skip this.
I had the ๐ซ๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐ ๐ต๐๐๐
๐๐๐ ($17.90) which was AMAZING. The most satisfying bowl of noodles Iโve tried in a long time. The noodles were al dente, chewy, and springy. The nutty and creamy sauce was so good and clung to the noodles so well. I love every component of the dish from the minced meat, chashu, white onions, fried onions, pickled cucumber to the veggies. I recommend you to eat this on its own and then add the three types of vinegar (kelp, orange and spicy) on the spoon to give a tanginess to the noodles. Donโt finish all the sauce as they will give you a free bowl of rice to soak up the remaining sauce.
They serve 100 bowls of noodles a day so do come early.
This time I came to try their The rum & raisin ice cream flavor was kinda muted compared to the shaved foie gras and Ximenez syrup. As usual the waffles were airy, light and crispy. Love this flavor combo - a little salty and sweet!
๐บ๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐ ๐ป๐๐๐๐ ($15) - Hardshell taco filled with rice and soft shell crab. Would have been better if they have made it with crispy rice instead of the hardshell tacos.
