Taste: 9.5/10
Presentation: 9/10
Ambience: 8/10 (Issa little hot there I think their ac wasn’t working!)

Came to check this place out since i was passing by the area w a few friends and saw that it was on burpple beyond. The waffles was crisp on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside, a solid 9/10 and i got strawberry earl grey, nutella and rum&raisin on the waffles as well as a single scoop of dark chocolate on the side. Would highly recommend the nutella flavour, it isn't the normal overly sweet kind but has a deeper hazelnut flavour which we all found to be very impressive. Solid place definately recommend

Being a huge lover of pasta, I'm always on the look-out for true handmade Italian variations of the dish. One such place that offers amazing pasta is none other than Pasta Brava.

The pasta dish to try is none other than the Stracci Ai Gamberi E Capesante. Fresh saffron cream paired with delicious seafood, you just can't miss the iconic bright orange hue of the dish. The saffron cream sauce was a first for me and it was amazing, clinging to the flat long strips of homemade pasta that brought it to a whole new level. I'll definitely head back for more and coupled with Burpple's 1-for-1, it's a steal.

The Pork Cheek Pasta ($23) from Rookery is good! The al-dente pappardelle (a broad and flat pasta) reminds me of mee hoon kway:P The pork cheek is simmered in a delicious tomato red wine sauce and topped with herbed breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese and parsley. I love how the flavours and textures complement one another. You know the food is good when you find yourself eating slowly just to make it last😬 P.S. There is one-for-one promo on Burpple Beyond:)

I love meeting friends at Cafe Milligram - for its chill vibes and brunch food! The beef quinoa bowl was v satisfying for all our palates - its chewy red quinoa, juicy steak, the well seasoned greens, mushrooms e.g.

A rainbow in the bowl makes to brighten up any day! Cant rave the same for the tomato cream gnocchi. Though i like the soup, the gnocchi was a lil too mushy for my liking. Extremely flavourful nevertheless!

($19 for both, with burpple one for one 😊)

Coffee 👍🏻👍🏻

This place serves one of the best coffee I’ve ever tasted.
The milk does not overpower the coffee taste, yet it complements it to balance the acidity of the espresso.
Very impressed with the coffee here, if you try anything, you must try this..

Plus, after burpple discount, each cup costs $3/person. Super wallet friendly.

Not a place where I’ll recommend you to sit down and chill/study though, because the smell of their food bowls (dons) just makes the whole place smells really bad - unless you don’t mind smelling like truffle.

But, the chairs are super comfortable, I guess that makes up for the smell...

Double berries milkshake taste yummy, just that there are a lot of seeds. Lychee & Rock-melon is an ultimate sweet combi. The lychee gelato is really pure, it’s as if you are eating a whole lychee. The lychee sort of overpowered the rock-melon taste, don’t try this combi. As both are really sweet, I took a long time to finish the drink as it gets quite jelat. I shall just get the gelato next time.

The cakes here are sugar free.

The Pulat Hitam cake was ok, light and not too sweet. But very filling cos of the black glutinous rice.

The choc fudge cake was not for me. It was bland in chocolate flavour and the texture was abit off.

Coffee was not bad.

Find this delightful cafe located along Bukit Timah Road for delicious pasta and grain bowls. Spice lovers, dig into the al dente Asian-Spiced Seafood Pasta ($19) with just the right amount of heat and fresh seafood like prawns and squid. Also good is the Pork Belly Miso ($16) – picure tender braised pork belly with a well-balanced fat-to-meat ratio alongside crunchy dry ramen crisps, miso cream, nori and an onsen egg.

The Ispahan (rose mascarpone cream) and Paris Brest (hazelnut praline pastry cream) were light and #yummy. Enjoy with #burpple 1-for-1. (S$14)

Tried the 3 course set and really loved the appetiser we chose plus the desserts are realllly good! Spanish octopus is an absolute must try-it was so tender! Also highly recommend trying out their Iberico pork for mains and deconstructed black forest cake

Such a good deal! Ordered the seafood roll with chilli crab sauce for one and mentaiko sauce for the other. The bread was well toaster and though we only reached home close to an hour later, the bread didnt turn soggy from the chilli crab sauce.

My husband personally preferred the mentaiko sauce. I love both!!
