Love the curly fries in this dish and the mango salsa adds a nice touch to the dry taco shell. Overall an enjoyable meal and even more enjoyable when you get 1 for 1 with Burpple Beyond.
Normally carbonaras are way too creamy, milky even and hard to finish. This was just right and pretty light. The poached egg was overcooked. Otherwise, a great dish! It's truffle - what's not to love 🖤
This place has got to be the hidden gem of National Library. Although the shop was not prominently located at the third storey, it offered a wide range of food. A good draw factor would be that they were recently listed under Burpple Beyond, and that would imply more one-for-one deals!
Because some of their fried stuff like fries and chicken cutlet were prepared with air fryer, the Cheeky Chicky Burger (S$15.50) had the absence of grease without compromising the crisp and taste. I liked the oozing effect of the honey mustard and that runny egg yolk that was waiting to burst. The fries had a truffle oil finish but the flavours were not overpowering, perfect for people who would prefer not to go for intense truffle-flavoured oil.

Was craving for pasta so decided to pop by here. Got the Tempura Mentaiko Pasta. Usual price is $18 but with Burpple Beyond, it is really worth it. The pasta was creamy and the portion is just right so it won’t get too jelak. Fish was also crispy on the outside, but the meat is a bit tough, can be more tender! Atmosphere is great and the staff were very very friendly. Will definitely come back again.
Taking over now-defunct Sugarhaus is this cafe that's perfect for lazy weekends. Grab your lunch buddies and feast on the Wagyu Beef Cheek Rendang ($22) – think tender wagyu beef smothered in delicious rempah, pickled vegetables and a runny egg on top of fragrant butterfly pea coconut rice (free flow!). The Grilled Halloumi is a good vegetarian option, topped with charred scallions, baby corn and drizzled with tahini aioli.

Find this delightful cafe located along Bukit Timah Road for delicious pasta and grain bowls. Spice lovers, dig into the al dente Asian-Spiced Seafood Pasta ($19) with just the right amount of heat and fresh seafood like prawns and squid. Also good is the Pork Belly Miso ($16) – picure tender braised pork belly with a well-balanced fat-to-meat ratio alongside crunchy dry ramen crisps, miso cream, nori and an onsen egg.

Cozy atmosphere with chill pop hits! Great for a relaxing lunch or tea.
Recommend getting the waffle with loaded cookies and cream! It was creamy and really loaded with Oreo, extremely satisfying.
We also ordered the fried mantou with nutty nutella which was pretty good but the Nutty Nutella is a bit more milky.
Mac and cheese sticks are fried with truffle! :-)
Ordered this using Burpple Beyond, and it’s worth it at half price. Sauce was slightly spicy, and the soft shell crab was crispy. It’s a huge portion that I enjoyed finishing. Service is also good!
I prefer prawn tacos but if you're looking for a pretend-healthy brunch, I guess this is it. Pretty messy eating so avoid if on a first date. And don't forget to use the entertainer app for 1-for-1, I wouldn't pay sgd23 for this....
Looks good , taste good, with great ambience as well as affordable price. What is there not to love?
