Haven had such good steak frites in a while! There is only one item on the menu: Marbled USDA Double Gold Ribeye served with crispy frites, salad and a special house sauce. My medium rare steak is seared to perfection - it is soft, juicy and absolutely delicious. The golden frites are super crispy and unlimited. We picked a tart from the dessert trolley and ended dinner on a sweet note. 10/10 for the lovely atmosphere and good food!

What truly surprises me though, is the sweet flavours. I do not have a sweet tooth but the Azuki Butter and Hokkaido Milk are sooooo good and the filling was light, not too sweet and generous.

Long belated post but glad to try the shio pans from Shio & Sato before it closed in Apr 2026 - these shio pans are truly the best I have eaten in Singapore. The outside is crisp and salty and the inside is soft and pillowy - so delicious! The savoury toppings did not the disappoint - I enjoyed all the flavours, especially Mentaiko Kombu, Truffle and Green Chilli Onion.

Enjoying my Mortadella & Burrata Sandwich ($20)✨The soft and light burrata, savoury mortadella ham and a dash of truffle honey go so well with the pillowy focaccia. Enjoyed this!

The Pumpkin Risotto ($25) is surprisingly good. The creamy pumpkin risotto goes well with charred brussel sprouts. This is sweet, savoury and delicious!

This is my first time trying Keen’s Bagelry at Asia Square and I am super satisfied with Saitama ($17), which features a hearty bagel with Norwegian smoked salmon, avocado, sunny-side up, tomatoes, sliced cheddar, house-made Garlic aioli and arugula. The ingredients are fresh and generous, and the flavours worked well together. This is so big that I was struggling to finish it for lunch, but not complaining!

Spent an afternoon at King and The Pawn (great selection of boardgames btw) and the food was surprisingly good. I ordered Spicy Bacon Mushroom Aglio Olio ($19) which consists of capellini with bacon, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes. This pasta was garlicky, aromatic and very tasty - cleaned my plate in no time!

Note: They have shifted to 17 Purvis Street (#01-01)

The Chicken Breast Croissant ($9) has definitely exceeded my expectations. The chicken breast was moist, tender and well-seasoned, and it went so well with the basil mint pesto and scrambled eggs. Delightful!

This is my first visit to French bistro restaurant Josephine and I tried their weekday Set Lunch ($34) which comprised of your choice of starter, main and dessert of the day or coffee/tea.

For starter, I picked Sea Bass Ceviche. The lime marinated raw sea bass with basil, onion and yellow pepper coulis was tangy and refreshing.

I ordered Duroc Pork Belly for main and the slow confit pork belly melted in my mouth and was absolutely delicious. Love that the skin was crispy and it went very well with the garlic crushed potatoes and piperade - couldn’t get enough of this!

Dessert of the day was a slice of Apple Pie and it was not too sweet - a delightful way to end lunch.

There is also a $28 and $44 set lunch. Although the set lunch was pricey, the food was really good - enjoyed this thoroughly!

Not kidding but I think I have eaten the Protein Bowl at Les Mains Deli at least 5 times🙈 The regular bowl is priced at $14.50 and it comes with 2 bases, 1 protein, 2 supplements, 1 topping and 1 dressing of your choice.

I’m not a fan of chicken breast in general but their chicken breast is really soft and tender. However, my favourite protein is the Tuna Tataki (+$3). The thickly sliced tuna is seared on the outside and raw on the inside - this is my go to when I feel like giving myself a treat.

The food is fresh, there is a wide variety to choose from, and each component is well-executed. As someone who is not very into vegetables, I’m also glad that there are 4 types of grain base to choose from. To top it off, the portion is generous. Love this!

The Messy ‘Nicoise’ Salad ($21.50) came with smashed potatoes and salmon, hard boiled egg, romaine, red onion, long beans, dill and caper sauce, toasted buckwheat and sour cream. I’m not a salad person so I only tried the potato and salmon - I’m pleasantly surprised that the smashed potato is crisp on the outside and the salmon is not overcooked. The dressing is light and nice.

Laksa Olio ($11.50) features spaghetti, prawns, cherry tomato and edamame in a laksa sauce that is surprisingly flavourful and spicy (but nothing too fiery).
