The most delectable sweet ending to our meal last night. Macerated mixed berries with a crisp meringue shell encasing even more fluffy marshmallow-textured meringue, balancing a sweet strawberry sorbet. Just the right dessert, light and refreshing to end off our meal.

When this was placed on my table, I swear my eyes just went wiiiide open. 👀Seriously, Springleaf's prata creations are the stuff you can only dream about. Crispy casing holding in portobello mushrooms, tandoori chicken and chewy mozzarella cheese makes for an absolutely sinful meal. 😛

It will get jelat though, and the portion is massive! So make sure you grab your nearest friend (or two) before tackling this behemoth of a prata. 👊

Craving for some Japanese food. Might seem a little slow, but only just tried this chain for the very first time 2 weeks back.
💫
For a chain, the quality is more than decent for the sushi. Take this Spicy Salmon Handmade Mayo Sauce with rice, egg and scallop. Creamy in every spoonful, filled with salmon and the occasional scallop. Japanese food sure can be sinful but so good, so share this. This, at only $6.80😶.
💫
All the while, there was the wondrous smell of grilled beef cubes and flame-grilled salmon mentai. No wonder the queues here. Sure coming back

Discovered this place when I was searching for the Cajun Kings telephone number and discovered that it had closed down. Was craving for some cajun seafood so we decided to try this place.

Be prepared to do everything yourself; fast food style - don’t expect to make reservations, nor have someone bring you to your table. You walk up, pick your table, go to the counter and order, fill your own drinks at the drink fountain, collect your food when your buzzer buzzes.

We got the Olympian Bucket $165sgd along with a couple of sides (lobster bisque - didn’t like this, cheese fries - pretty good, fried mushroom & salted egg yolk fried squid - decent not a must-order) for 6 of us.

I’m not the biggest seafood fan, but my husband and friends who were said that the seafood was pretty decent. Although, with the amount of sauce involved you obviously are not coming here for the freshest of freshest seafood.

I love sauces and there were quite a few to choose from which made me very happy - Chilli Egg (spicy, but nothing special), Salted Egg Yolk (i love salted egg but this was extremely disappointing - very plasticky. We barely even touched it after the first dip), Thai Red Curry (didn’t try), Sambal Tunis (didn’t try), Cheesy Cream (didn’t try), Cajun Herb & Butter (one of the better sauces, cajun spices were strong and more evident than the buttery taste), Cajun Cheese (this was MINDBLOWINGLY good. i actually ate the sauce by itself. Group consensus - favourite, by far)

No GST & No service charge! so we paid about ~$35/pax which i think its pretty fair.

Not a must- visit, but I would return if the craving strikes again.

Kept hearing about this amazing YTF at amk and when we arrived on a weekday at 1.30pm there was about 8 people in the queue.

It was good, nice broth but abit salty. Definitely decent but I wouldn't come all the way and queue just for this

A hidden gem with a loyal following, Cacio e Pepe serves good quality Italian food minus the pretense. Enjoy a lovely meal with your date in this cosy neighborhood joint, without having to venture into the crowds. Start with the portobellos, and try either the tagliatelle with scallop in truffle cream sauce, or the squid ink risotto. While pasta may not seem deserving of a $20+ price tag, these are very good, and are more worth it than the pizzas here. Finish off with the oozing chocolate lava cake, and leave this gem with a smile on your face.

The Rolls Royce of Baked Mac & Cheese, with Truffle Oil, Wild Mushrooms

Not the usual okonomiyaki that you know. In fact, this monjyayaki is pretty rare and I don't really know anywhere else that sells it, let alone let you cook it yourself. It's a wetter, stickier version of the okonomiyaki. While okonomiyaki is pancake like, this is almost akin to eating a cabbage-based stew/gravy. Not the best description, but trust me it was pretty good. The best part is when it crisps up after cooking on the hot pan for a while. Worth trying this relatively unheard of Japanese dish!

Part of a Chinese course dinner which costs about $200 per head. The skin is crispy like one would expect it to be. Thereafter, the meat of the poor bare pig is then diced and stir fried with some kinda pepper seasoning which tastes really good! Nvr knew sg actually has such a fine Chinese restaurant out there.

Must try this Claypot rice dish + the melt in your mouth char Shu rice bowl. Staples that never disappoint and always hit the spot!

I used to work across Funan Centre, so it was the occasional lunch place.
Glad to find it accidentally, at Novena.
Good to eat Fish Cake that has real good fish and not starchy.
Any memories of the place?

tonkotsu king allows customers to customise their ramen according to their preference of the type of broth, texture of noodles, amount of oil and toppings. furthermore, there is also free flow of marinated beansprouts and hard boiled eggs. as a person who hardly touch beansprouts, i couldn't stop myself from continuously aiming my chopsticks at them. you can imagine how nice their marinated beansprouts are
