Knife-cut noodles are not always easily found, so I will definitely order them where available. A scrumptious bowl of noodles, with preserved olive vegetable both as-is and batter-fried.

$7, somehow the actual dish also looks better than the menu photo

Breaded Dory served with fries, tartar sauce, coleslaw, and garlic bread. $9

Originally from Smokin’ Joe’s Urban Hawker stall (US$16 & w/o garlic bread there), rated “the best fish and chips in NYC” by New York Post

160g secreto Ibérico pork served with fries, coleslaw, garlic bread, and brown sauce. $20

Armpit cut (or 不见天), grilled in a Josper charcoal oven

$8, served with spaghetti aglio olio, potato wedges drizzled with homemade kaffir lime aioli, stir-fried broccoli, and achar

Grilled Catfish w/ Creamy Dill Sauce ($7.20), with Wild Olives’ Signature Mushroom Rice, and Seasonal Vegetables (choice of 2 side dishes)

1h queue on a rainy Sunday lunchtime, but completely worth it. All the food is flavourful, meats are grilled to perfection, and portions are generous & value-for-money.

They have an (unspoken) system in place where they will come around to the queue to get everyone’s choice of mains to start grilling; when you finally get to the counter, settle the choice of sauce and sides (and any other add-ons), and make payment. The food is served pretty quickly after that.
