Oven Roasted Holland Crackling Pork Belly. His heart went BEDOK, BEDOK because the Crackling was really really KRANJI. He said he heard the pork telling him, I'm AL-JU-NIED. Sure or not? HOUGANG your food can talk to you one? He said EUNOS, some people have the ability, especially if you are a LAVENDAR. Huh? Sure or not? Maybe their brain wrong side. No, he doesn't stay in YISHUN. Anyway, you probably can get a similar dish all DOVER the place, but this one at 5 Senses quite good lah, you won't get that SENGKANG feeling like some other places. You can come here by the downtown line, stop at KING ALBERT PARK.

Fortunately this still turned out to be pretty decent and quite on par with my expectations given my previous visit to the Bedok Point branch. The stewed apple comes pretty soft yet with a bite, stuffed with soft custard in the middle which provides a little egginess. It fits well with the aromatic vanilla ice-cream, with bits of strawberry flavours adding a tangy flavour to give the dessert a little contrast.

Could have imagined how good this was, especially since the versions at The Art Space and Pies &a Coffee were quite enjoyable. While the ones here come with quite a thick layer of torched sugar, it's also rather unjustifiable against similar offerings by other places especially when it comes with typical coffee machine dispensed coffee beneath. Not necessarily a bad thing if one is in need of coffee, but not a sacrifice that I am willing to make though (i.e. probably just not to my preference).

From 5 Senses Bistro, the second branch of 5 Senses at Bedok Point that is located at Sime Darby Centre opposite King Albert Park MRT Station within ToTT taking over the former bistro.

While I had a decent experience with the Duck Confit previously, the Australian Beef Steak Rice Bowl was a little disappointing. No doubt the Furikake Rice was flavourful, but the chewy and tough slices of beef (which we ordered to be served medium rare) that wrestles with the teeth wasn't the best experience. Probably would have been better to stick to the pork/chicken/fish/duck items on the menu instead.
