I have always wanted to try this when I know they reopened at Bugis, and finally found my chance this time.
Went for their signature portion that comes with fried fish, 3 different meats such as pork belly, char siew & meatball and 1 whole braised egg. It really full of ingredients in one bowl.
The lor itself is flavourful but I was hoping to have more of it.
Very long never eat here. New-ish stall. One of the stallholders is nice, unlike many shaola stalls. Both types of meat had a good balance of lean and fat.
Pleasantly surprised by our visit to this HK cafe, it turned out to be really authentic and tasty! Highly recommend the scrambled egg with seafood and milk tea. Will be back :)
Service was great with friendly staff. Nice ambience. Interesting dishes such as Roasted Duck Green Curry. Basil meat was lovely.
Service was excellent!!! Also, a very nice twist to Thai food with dishes such as roasted duck curry, would recommend if you like Thai food but can't handle the spiciness
Signature Grass Jelly Beancurd @$3
Cheap and good.
Loads of ingredients and grass jelly was so refreshing. The beancurd was so jellyicious.
Overall felt this was so value for money
Canton Delicacies always never fails to dissappoint. Returned again, this time tried their steam pork.
The boneless Meat was so tender and so flavourful. Their gravy was damn shiok as well. The meat tasted like it was bathed in the gravy for days, flavours so infused into the meat.
Ordered the ribs, squid, and wagyu steak, ribs were grilled to perfection, easily de-deboned. Squid had tangy and spicy and spicy taste. Ambience was cozy and great with good service
The set lunch is such a steal! I ordered Basil Pork with Rice and Egg ($9.90) and it came with a drink of your choice and mango sticky rice.
The basil pork is really good - I opted for non-spicy because I heard that it can quite spicy, but the stir-fried minced pork, basil and long bean was still very fragrant and tasty nonetheless. I had a generous glass of Thai milk tea and though the mango sticky rice was quite small, it was still nice to end lunch on a sweet note. Can’t wait to come back again!
