Aiya I was craving this but theirs cmi. Barely any taste except the few salted fish.

First time trying this new stall. Not often you get crispy skin on roast meat. Thumbs up. Overall quite good.

Hairy gourd, 辣子鸡, tomato egg. Ate for fun.

Lol means Hokkien mee from caifan stall. A late dinner so anyhow eat. But I've always liked this caifan stall lah.

Lemon chicken, napa cabbage, cereal fish. Although this stall is run by ah bengs, I've always liked its variety of dishes. I miss my childhood food lemon chicken!

Yam Ring (佛砵飘香) is my family's all-time favourite, probably cuz Teochews love yam! ❤❤❤ Almost a must-order at zichars ($18/22/26 - we had medium for 6pax) ✔

Featuring a thin layer of batter fried to the perfect golden brown encasing a ring of earthy mashed yam, the natural sweetness of the yam is greatly enhanced by the fragrant batter. 🤤🤤🤤 The contrast in textures is also well-played - crispy exterior with a soft & smooth interior is always delightful! 💕

Together with a generous amount of chicken chunks, mixed vegetables, mushrooms, prawns & cashew nuts, there's really nothing to not love about this dish! 😋😋😋 YAMMY!!!

We also ordered their Sambal Kangkong 🥬, butter squid 🦑 (which turned out to be Garlic Squid instead), Mixed Vegetables 👍🏻 & Black Pepper Fish 🐟, which totalled about $75. Standards seem to be deteriorating - looks like it's time to scout for other nearby zichar options! 😂
