Served with a tiny mound of raisin-studded butter rice, which was fragrant and had a similar bite to glutinous rice. They were generous with the chicken, which was nicely grilled but could do with a stronger touch of lemon grass and a bit more seasoning.
Red wine paired with cheese to nibble, is one of the best thing to happen on a TGIF. Simple, with intense flavor from both the wine and cheese, that compliments and not clash or fight, is a great way to end the weekday.
Salty cheese melted over a bed of sweet apples and raisins... The fusion is awkward to the max!
