Tampopo (Oasis Terraces)

Service was terrible that day, there were not greeting compare to Takashimaya outlet. We were queueing to wait for seat for almost 15 to 20 mins. Hubby went in and found many seat available and spoke to a staff to assist us but still too slow. The food standard is not the same as well, will not return to this branch.

Love the black pig tonkatsu set here, but their ramen is good as well! Healthy tasting broth that goes well with its crispy cutlets. A little on the pricier side though!

Seriously, this Top Grade Kurobuta Tonkatsu Set is $31.80 before discount so it's insanely worth the money after slashing the cost in half.

The high grade loin cutlet is very much balanced with tender and juicy meat and fat with a crisp batter that's been pretty well-drained with little trace of residual oil. The set comes with shredded cabbage and a side of lemon, with rice, pork miso soup, pickled yellow radish and fresh fruits. While it isn't the best tonkatsu I've had, it's certainly enjoyable, and for 50% off I couldn't be more satisfied!

Its decent, quite average in terms of the taste.

We ordered the tampopo black pork to tonkatsu ramen, which had a creamy and spicy broth, as well as the Hokkaido burn miso tonkatsu ramen, which had thicker springier noodles and a umami packed broth.
