This would be my last meal in the city area until next month as the new safety measures start tomorrow.
Tachihara Coffee is actually under Pullman Bakery, which is just beside it. Serving toast with coffee and tea, a perfect place to grab some bites or high tea.
For every toast and drink purchase, you actually get a cup of complementary soft boiled egg.
The toast was fluffy with great texture, and they come with strong taste of each flavours.
Beautiful cup of houjicha with a light rose fragrance from the French rose petals.
Need to stay home yet also need to support businesses - how ?
Always had a soft spot for Japanese cafes and this quiet little place reminded me of the cozy corners of Shimokitazawa in Tokyo. The Japanese style potato salad was really good but I wished the yolk of the soft boiled egg was more 'oozy'. That said, i still cleaned out my plate. (And that was having had a bowl of noodles just 3hrs earlierπ)
Highly recommend washing down your meal with the iced mix fruit tea; it was a light and refreshing end to the savoury sausage and bacon.
French Toast Set (S$9)
Available in @MilleniaWalk
2 half slices of French toast, served with fried bacon π₯, sausage, hash, and Japanese style boiled egg π³. The french toast was soft and sweet with a custard like centre. The hash was a mixture of potato π₯, vegetables and luncheon meat. The egg was served cold in a light soy broth, topped with bonito flakes. The yolk had a smooth lava flow when cut opened.

For their opening promotion, every order of the toast as it seems comes with this, which is available as a side for $1.50. Served chilled, the sauce it is doused in may look a tad dark but was actually rather light in flavour. Apart from that, the egg was rather normal, though the yolk was on the verge of solidifying. Not something I would order again.
From Tachihara Coffee at Millennia Walk, a newly-opened Japanese cafe serving hotdogs, sandwiches, toast, soup and toast sets (which are almost identical to big breakfast sets) while also carrying coffee, tea and Calpis drinks on the menu.
The toasts are largely buttered white bread served with a dip; the Matcha Cream was served chilled and is reasonably thick in consistency while carrying a light whiff of green tea aroma.
