Filipino food rocks. This chicken adobo is made by simmering the marinated chicken first before deep frying it to a crisp. The rice is fragrant and tasty as well - with heavy taste of shallots mixed within. Really lovely.

I think that is the main thing about Filipino food, it feels like there is a party of flavours in your palate. 💃🏻 Sylog's tocino is tender and satisfying however, I prefer it to be a little burnt. I just want some texture in every bite. 😜 Maybe next time, I can request? 🤔

It was not my first time to order Lechon in this stall. I already tried it before which as far as, I remember, has soft meat, crispy skin and oh just flavourful. However at that night, their lechon didn't live up to the expectation. I suspect (just suspect) that maybe they source their lechon from different suppliers. I based this through the food's consistency, because I would say that the other meal in the menu were consistent in terms of flavour and texture. I regularly eat my dinner here, especially if I crave for Filipino food that is just in the area. 😋
