What better way to start the morning than with a warm bowl of porridge☺️? The porridge from Redhill Pork Porridge is affordably priced and comes with lots of ingredients like meatball, pork slices and liver🐷. The rice grains were cooked till soft but personally we prefer the smooth silky porridge texture🍚.The meatball and pork slices were yummy, but the liver was slightly undercooked and had blood on it😥. We also felt that the porridge itself was not that flavourful, hence might not brave the long queue again🥣.
I was taken aback to learn that the owner, Mr Han, has recently retired and the stall already shuttered.
But as stunned as I was by its sudden closure, news of the stall reopening soon reached my ears. The stall has been taken over by a new operator who turned out to be non other than... Miss Tam Chiak!

Open from Tue to Sun, 6am to 9am or till sold out, this comforting bowl of Hainanese Porridge ($3.50 / $4.50) consist of pork slice, meat balls, thick slices of pork liver and youtiao. Add $0.50 for egg. It's really good, worth trying.
Location: Redhill Pork Porridge, Redhill Food Centre, 85 Redhill Ln, #01-90, Singapore 150085
This porridge stall offers Hainanese-styled porridge ($3/$4) with either pork or fish options. You can add an egg for extra 50¢.
.
The pork porridge is generous with pork ingredients like pig's liver, sliced pork and minced pork balls.
.
The pig's liver is extremely creamy while the tenderness divine. It was cooked to the point when it has just turned pink without any visible blood.
.
The moderately sliced pork was of a good thickness that provided some bite. It has this velvety texture which I believed is achieved with the addition of corn starch.
.
The well-seasoned pork balls are like little flavor bombs. I think tung choi was added in the pork mixture. I feel they should only add tung choi to either the porridge or the pork balls. The saltiness is a little overkill here.
