[CLOSED] Naked Ice Cream

A short walk from Kovan MRT, we stopped for desserts after heading past multiple times. Ordered these flavours to try
🍵 Kyoto Matcha
🍯 Honey Milk Cream
☕️ Earl Grey Lavender
🍪 Speculoos Cookie Butter

Also added on the plain and charcoal waffles ($4 and $5 respectively) 🧇

If you’re someone with a sweet tooth, try their honey milk cream. Personally, my favourites are the kyoto matcha and speculoos cookie butter flavours 💚

Saw that they also introduced new flavours like grape yakult that I would be back to try 🍇

Tried the kyoto matcha and earl grey lavender flavours atop the charcoal waffle (+$5). We also had the plain waffle but felt that the charcoal one had a crispier bite to it 🧇

Ordered 2 waffles and 4 scoops of ice cream here (total damage $24). Our order got mixed up so we ended up with double portion of the earl grey which we originally only asked for a scoop and a serving of speculoos cookie butter on the side.

Returned back to Naked, this time with the wife.

Decided to try the charcoal waffles this time, Wife and I totally loved the crispness of the waffle. It also tasted very good.

Easy 5/5 for the waffles.

Both Ice cream was fairly good as well. Both tasted rather light, would have preferred a stronger nuttier taste for the pistachio.

Kyoto Matcha ($4) (classic flavour)
Yubari Rock Melon ($4) (premium flavour - $1)
I felt that their ice cream was quite milky and smooth texture. I don't taste much bitter taste in kyoto matcha as compared to yubari rock melon (high recommendation for flavour) got that strong taste in sweet.

It’s another cosy little ice cream shop around Kovan that is open till 2AM for the late-night owls. They were quite packed after dinner with limited seatings for dine-in.

I gave the grape yakult flavour a try since it was recommended by the staff. It was nothing out of the ordinary to shout about. The texture of the ice cream was icy and the milky flavour kind of overpowered the weak taste of grape yakult. Waffles are prepared fresh upon order, crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside. It was however too crispy and firm for my preference and I did not quite like the use of disposable plastic utensils 》$4 Single Scoop + $4 Plain Waffle
