Like my previous visit, simple but delicious. A very homely seasoning, boiled pork belly, garnish. The youtiao is a nice touch. There's a thing like chwee kueh but it didn't add much to the experience.
Fried kangkong is already nice but they further mix it with spring onion. It has the typical deep frying fragrance, but a bit too unhealthy.
This Burmese stall took over the long-time goreng pisang from Longhouse. The menu is really interesting. I tried this because I like stripped-down noodles and garlic is a hack. Indeed very satisfying. The noodle used is similar to Hakka noodle. Great seasoning and garnish too. The serving of salad also showed that in poverty people would still make things work.
