You can never go wrong with the sweet and salty combination of cured meats, fruits and honey - together with the light, creamy burrata, this creates the perfect appetizer and a great start to a wonderful meal. I have a weakness for burrata.
Wow your clients or business partners with lunch at Lollapalooza, sister to the famed Lolla. While dinners here require some saving up, the set lunch ($38 for three-course, $45 for four-course) is comparatively affordable. Start with the beautiful Burrata with Jamon Serrano, Feijoada & Wild Honeycomb, then opt for the Chargrilled Pork served with Duck Fat Potato Terrine if available (the menu changes regularly). The space is elegant yet laidback, with a comfortable layout that favours small groups.
Not much a fan of pasta, though slightly underwhelming but really creamy and rich
Served with a duck fat potato terrine. I had fun eating the terrine, cutting through the very thin slices of potato, which obviously took a while to put together.

So simple, so fresh and so perfectly executed. Cutting right through the crispy pastry, each mouthful has uni, crab and an umami rich sauce and some of that buttery, crispy pastry. Others might have already said this, but this is @lollapalooza.sg's perfect response to @lollasg's sea urchin and squid ink pudding. Keep doing this call and response thing and I will be at both places catching up with their creations.

The two options of ice-cream for the set lunch deal (3 courses $38, 4 courses $48). Between the two, my pick would have been the Nut-Brown Butter ice-cream which carries a subtle sweet and nutty flavour with a hint of maple. Those who love tart flavours may prefer the Blackcurrant Sorbet; carrying nostalgic flavours of a childhood favourite named Ribena, but instead of getting that safe-for-kids sweet ending you get a real palate cleanser with its zingy and tart finish. These are also available on the alacarte menu at $9 per scoop.
