~ What we had ~

Starters: Soupe a l'Oignon\Classic French Onion Soup
Mains: Joue De Boeuf\Red Wine Braised Beef Cheek with Mashed Potato, Grilled Lamb Rack
Dessert: Tarte Fine Aux Pommes\Signature Apple Tart

~ Verdict ~

Starters: Surprisingly good. Beef stock was flavourful. The only downside was the bread was slightly overtoasted. ๐Ÿง…๐Ÿฒ
Mains: Beef cheek was tender and the portion was quite generous! However, it can get quite "jelak" towards the end. The lamb rack definitely outshone the beef dish. ๐Ÿฅฉ๐Ÿ–
Dessert: The signature dish. Highlight was the crust. ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅง

We tried the new menu:

1. Starters: Escargots
2. Mains: Lamb Saddle 500g (shared between 2) and Beef Burgers with Foie Gras.

The lamb dish was really good. Great service as well.

Main:
๐Ÿ Ravioli de Royans (Worth a try)
๐Ÿ— Duck parmentier (Ok)
Dessert:
๐Ÿฎ Creme Bulee (Can't go wrong)
๐Ÿฅญ Passionfruit/Mango Mousse (Ok)

Truffle mushroom soup ~ Tenderloin with foie gras / Lamb ribs rice bowl ~ Burnt cheese cake

We tried some Greek cuisine today!

What we had:
+ Paidakia, or grilled lamb chops
+ Kotopuolo Kalamaki, or chicken skewers, that comes with tzatziki (salted yogurt)
+ Hummus dip with pita

Really enjoyed the food (especially the dips- hummus and tzatziki). We also got an indoor seat facing the sea. ๐ŸŒŠ

/Art-is-tic/

The food looked pretty and just like the pictures in the menu except that they were not spared from shrinkflation.

What we had:
+ Squid ink pasta with scallops
+ Duck confit
+ Ribeye steak with foie gras
+ Lychee peach tea (cold)

Overall not too bad, especially with Mario & friends as the backdrop during this period. โ˜บ๏ธ

๐Ÿฅฉ main dish:

+ The Fiorentina steak was tasty and flavourful with the burnt ends. Good for sharing.
+ The lamb chop tasted like satayโ€ฆbut still good though.

๐Ÿง€ side dish:

+ The burrata was just okay.
+ Mac and cheese was pretty tasty.
+ Mash potato was a good add on to the steak

Verdict:

To beef!
Good experience, even tho I find the food pretty pricey for what they could offer.

I recommend trying out this set meal: bolognese burger + drink of your choice if you donโ€™t mind overspending ($25 vs $10) once in a whileโ€ฆthe design was terribly cute and it actually tasted good. Probably better than some Halloween meals I tried!

The โ€œMexico by Day, Lebanon by Nightโ€ pizza has pork belly, chicharrones (Spanish for fried pork bits), some pineapples for its toppings and a chipotle base that adds a mild spicy flavour. As the name suggests, the pizza tastes like a big taco with spicy pork fillings and it certainly did not disappoint!
