Best Buffet In Singapore

As it is going to be the new year soon, I am going to try something new too by posting a review live as I just finished my new year eve buffet meal at Latest Recipe at Le Meridien hotel Sentosa (formerly movenpick resort hotel), before I go for the countdown party at Siloso Beach.

The food is great with lobsters and oyster on ice, local delights like satay, chilli flower crabs and roast duck. A really tasty fish maw soup and black pepper beef kway teow.

Initially I was wondering why is there no desert station but they actually moved it to WOW (world of whisky) just for NYE, a lounge and bar area. And there I found a ala minute crepe suzzette station, macaroons, green tea chocolate and fruit selection.

All in all the food is great, the service is adequate and I am now all pumped up for 2017!

Can you imagine a Cavier station with free flow of Cavier, on top of all the premium seafood on ice trimmings like, lobster, oysters, crabs, yabbies and sashimi, not to mention free flow made to order small plates like grilled Iberico pork belly and Foie Gras for example? :)

How about free flow champagne, juices, beer and wine and get this a bespoke Bloody Mary cocktail station wheeled up to your table to make it extra special for you?

And I have not even gotten down to the charcuterie and cheese room, pizza and freshly baked bread from an wood-fired oven and an open charcoal grilled kitchen.

Of course there are also the crepe stations, freshly made in house ice-creams, and those mini macaroons which we love so much.

A group with a local celebrity seated near me was overheard praising Chef Eric Neo, who cooked a special grilled lobster with bonito flakes just for them.

I have been to many Sunday brunches in my foodie outings and this has got to be the best buffet for value, quality and service bar none.

Give yourself and your love ones a treat when you can, it's definitely worth it! Two thumbs up! :)
