💭: TBH, one of the better risottos i’ve had! Very well flavoured and balanced taste of the mushroom. Rice was perfect. They were generous with the mushrooms but overall portion could be a bit bigger. Yes...more!!!

He ordered this cause the chef looked japanese 😳 like that also can?

💭: I would think its a pork version of the veal milanese 😅 otherwise its quite delicious. Not too oily, the batter didnt fall apart. The pork was still tender. Good choice Ale!!

💭: Not sure what to expect but i didnt liked it too much, so more for him. He says its not quite right, but its decent and finished it.

With fresh burratina basil (omitted cux the italian man doesnt want) and prawns in cherry tomato sauce

💭: Yummy...fresh taste of the tomatoes...prawns were huge, fresh & succulent. This is the italian’s all time favourite...always ordering the same dish...soooo...u get the point.

Stuffed with spinach, buffalo ricotta cheese in parmesan, butter and sage sauce.

💭: im too full to really enjoy this fully. The taste was definitely pleasant. The ravioli are a little thick but the filling is full.

💭: this can never go wrong with high quality fresh cheese & parma ham. Definitely no strong porky smell 🐷

My Italian man told me Tiramisu means to pull someone up. Maybe that’s why we love it so much - it lifts our spirits.

👅: 😃Havent had a good lasagna until this one. Reallt pleasantly surprised. Chef was v friendly and makes very good tiramisu too :)

Very interesting on the 1st bite as the barley provides a lumpier and chewy bite. Its not soft like risotto rice or barley in our drink. Quite an brow raising change. The flavours were slightly different from the usual, a creamier one would be preferred (I'm biased cause i prefer cream base pasta). It was a pity that the crustaceans were slightly overdone thus a little on the dry side. A dish that i don't mind ordering if i do step in again.

Overall the dish was a little too dry, but the pasta was al dente tonight :) was a little disappointed that the crab was not shelled properly...a little crunchy. Not too spectacular a dish, the flavours quite nice but nothing too special about it.

This place had never disappointed me in all my 3 visits. The place is cozy, the wait staff are polite & service is good.

Super strong truffle smell and taste - woohooooo!!! The bacon was sufficiently charred and didnt look too fat. It is quite rich tasting...got to stop at 2 else my poor belly will go on strike again.

Starters: Fried Ravioli
Nice starter that whet your appetite with some saltiness. The salsa had a pretty strong pepper taste...and mildly spicy
Main: Cod Fish
The skin was nicely crisped. Bacon in the (i think is lentil base) added extra flavour to the fish, yet did not overpower the fragrance of the fatty fish 😋
Dessert: (Almond?) ice cream on brownie served with caramel and popcorn
Loved the ice cream!!! 😍 the brownie was very rich and moist...but was a little too soft and sweet for my liking. (I defo prefer the chewy ones) However, the dessert was still able to add a touch of sweetness to round up the dinner.

Honestly, my previous experiences at Jamie's were mehhh, not impressed (vivo outlet/Adelaide outlet)....even though there isnt much choices for me (cause im v picky with my proteins & i try to avoid carbs for dinner), i enjoyed my dinner very much tonight.

Ambience: the open-concept kitchen was quite noisy & i was quite afraid that i might smell of the kitchen by the time i was done with dinner 😶 the place is pretty big, i would request to sit else where.

Cost: $65.90++ per person.
The 3 course meal fed 2 small eaters 🙃
...and i should have paid more attention to the ingredients 😅
