Gastronomía Italian
This sexy, curvaceous fruit in a fragrant red wine bath just had the right balance of sweetness and acidity for a light dessert.
A triumph of fork-tender goodness served on top of a truffle puree that was silky and creamy.
As delectable to the palate as it was pleasing to the eye. The beautifully pan seared exterior gave way to tender moist flesh that remained succulent inside. The decadent plumpy Hokkaido Scallops were further enhanced by the scented truffle caviar that's out of this world.
Your stomach is grumbling. You look down at your watch and realise it’s after 10pm. Where can you still get dinner?
In a city where working hours extend way beyond the nine to five, having great food at (practically) any hour of the day is an amenity - and an luxury.
Open until 11pm, Peperoni is surely a gem to all nocturnal creatures and workaholics. Simply love its wood fired thin crust pizzas. Downed a whole pizza for my late night eat.
🗒 Prosciutto Crudo di Parma Pizza ($19.00)
This casual outpost is just the ticket for a relaxed weekday dinner meal in a warm setting. Watching the Italian pizzaiolo knead, toss and bake the pizza is foodie theatre. It's no surprise the pizza crust turned out like a crisp cracker that made a pleasing contrast to the velvety soft smoked salmon. New respect for the word handmade. But I'm clearly more impressed with their pun-tastic business name!
