Dinner
It was pretty average for me. Though the meat selection and cooked stuff is more than 2d1n, but I love the bulgogi at 2d1n so much more. Since I'm paying to stink from the grill already, might as well be thoroughly satisfied. I wasn't very satisfied today.
I've been here a couple of times already and the food never fails to disappoint me (ok...maybe that salmon burger I had wasn't that good) but besides that, everything I had here has been super delicious especially their truffle fries. Today we tried the omega 3 salad and I enjoyed it a lot. The Caesar is pretty good too. Portion is huge though if you aren't too hungry. Oh, and I learnt that they don't serve coffee in the evenings. Nevertheless, it was a good visit once again :)
I enjoyed my pork chop with apple and some white wine sauce (don't remember! Hehe). The pork chop was cooked well and it went really well with the sauce. It's worth the price and portion compared to other cafes or restaurant around Singapore.
This is my second visit and I'm glad the burgers are still as awesome as my first visit there (around April). I had the little dragon and the pork steak was succulent and so delicious. Do try their pork nuggets too, it's pretty good.
I had one of the most delicious chicken wings here. It was sooooo good. I think I could eat like 5 of it and want more! Minimum order of 3 btw. They also sell Satays too and it's quite yummy too! :)
Had my fill of really delicious chicken wings, satay, porridge, toufu and gyoza last night. Really one of the best food centers in Singapore!
It's definitely difficult to find good herbal Bak Kut Teh in Singapore and this is by far the best I had so far! It was so good and we were just raving about it the whole time. The dry Bak Kut Teh is pretty awesome too especially if you like it spicy! My friends were dipping the you tiao to the sauce too. Delicious! Must go!
I will just keep coming back because the quality has been consistent and my quick fix for any Japanese craving.
Expected to be a bit pricey since its in the heart of town, the food still remains pretty good (imho) though some may beg to differ. I like makan sutra as it's the most convenient place to gather for cheap seafood and your typical hawker fanfare
I'm very very picky with my steamboats and I dislike steamboat buffets as I always prefer quality over quantity (and I'm a small eater too). The soup bases at imperial is so good and you must order their pork belly. You'll never look at pork belly the same again in any steamboat buffet joints. Remember to make a booking as it can get quite crowded and prepare your pockets too. It doesn't come cheap too.
I have heard about Saveur but I have never had a chance to try it until recently. I had their starter pasta and the duck confit and found it average at best. The price is cheap for French food but doesn't live up in terms of quality. Quite a disappointment for me.
They are really famous for their curry and Assam curry fish head. And they are indeed right. The Assam was so good that I nearly wanted to lick the plate up! Their set meals (for groups of 4-6 or more) is really worth the price. However; be early as a queue will build up both for lunch and dinner!
