I had the kimchi fried rice with steak this time round in Paddy. It was so hearty and delicious, literally worth every single penny for this. Though portion could be a wee bit bigger, but it's still so freaking awesome. I had a really yumm hand brewed coffee too. The only disappointment of the meal was that we ordered cauliflower fritters - it came late and it was way too oily for our liking.
I had the opportunity to lunch here today and I was looking forward to it since its Lola's other sister (and everyone raves about Lola). All the food we ordered was really good and didn't take very long. The one thing I found odd is that they only gave us a few minutes to look at the menu and decide what we wanted. I felt quite displeased though, I'll be ready to order...when I am ready right? Plus it's order at the counter so I felt like why am I actually rushed to order. I sincerely hope the management can fix this because it's weird...like you don't have enough menus? And I'm sure I'm not the first to pick up on this too.
I've been here a couple of times already and the food never fails to disappoint me (ok...maybe that salmon burger I had wasn't that good) but besides that, everything I had here has been super delicious especially their truffle fries. Today we tried the omega 3 salad and I enjoyed it a lot. The Caesar is pretty good too. Portion is huge though if you aren't too hungry. Oh, and I learnt that they don't serve coffee in the evenings. Nevertheless, it was a good visit once again :)
Their scrambled eggs and croissant was really good. I was feeling a bit under the weather that day but I really enjoy this hearty meal. Coffee was also pretty decent. What I enjoyed the most at flock wasn't really the food or coffee, but the attentive service from the staff there. That itself made my left flock feeling very satisfied and happy :)
Finally had some time to have brunch at rise and grind. I wasn't sure what I want to have but I finally decided with the avo-ka-dukkah. Boy, I was in for a surprise. It was so delicious. The cheese, the avocado and the delicious poached eggs was a super yummy combination. Then again, I think I love anything avocado these days. Coffee here is pretty good too.!
To be very honest, I didn't expect it to be so good since y'know it's just brunch food, and brunch food is everywhere these days. I really enjoyed the poached eggs with that super awesome zesty Hollandaise and their coffee (only $3.50 for drip coffee!). Both of us gobbled down our mains and went "wow, this is really good! Shall we order more? Hehe". Will definitely be back!
Because once wasn't enough, I went back for more. Speaks a lot for a person who doesn't repeat most of her cafe visits because there are many more out there to try. And I'll be back for more!
One of the best katong laksa I had so far. The soup was amazing and I pretty much finished the whole bowl without a sweat. This is even better than 328 katong laksa. Really. I swear.
Sunday folks definitely for their waffles and desserts. Not the best cup of flat white though. If they served awesome coffee, wow, it would be like the best combi ever.

Need I say more.?
