Ramen lovers can expect robust flavours of the new broths such as Miso Tonkotsu, Shoyu Tonkotsu and Garden Veggie. These ramens along with other sides dishes will be launching on May 1st.
My favourite among the three is Tokyo Ramen [$9.50] as it feature a special shoyu blended soup base that elicit the nostalgic feelings of Japan. The shoyu soup base is made from pork bone marrow, chicken bones, niboshi (Japanese dried infant sadines), bonito flakes, vegetables, Japanese dried scallop and prawns. Swimming in it are classic egg noodles (my favourite), followed with char siu made with kurobuta pork.

Ramen lovers can get this from 12pm-3pm (last order at 2.30pm) and after 9pm.
Ramen Champion's new occupant, Torimaru is here to serve you tori paitan (creamy chicken soup) in four variations, featuring Special Chicken Ramen (Original Paitan) [$16] which consist of creamy rich chicken soup that is attained by robust boiling of five different parts of a chicken (including large amounts of chicken feet) and five types of vegetables over high temperatures for 10 hours. Accompanied by their signature tender chicken breast chashu and homemade chicken meat balls.
On days when you want something lighter, I would suggest going for the Signature Kanshouku Ramen or the Truffle Ramen (dry) - imo, it's a rather good combi!
Located in the heart of Clarke Quay and strategically opens from 6pm-5am, catering to the hungry night owls.
Here's my take on the Lobster Broth Ramen with Rich Creamy Soup Special [$20.90] - thick and succulent lobster broth that tasted somewhat like lobster bisque or rather in Asian terms, very gao prawn mee soup. For those with lighter palette, go for Lobster Broth Ramen (Clear Soup), Miso or Spicy Miso Lobster Broth Ramen.
Menya Takeichi brings you the broth that is rich in collagen from simmering the chicken and chicken feet for hours. The creamy chicken broth is light yet rich in flavour, I'll say it's a good change from the usual pork broth.
This crowd pleaser is a bowl of Japanese rice topped with grilled meat, runny egg and drizzled with spiced soya sauce. It also comes with deep fried enoki mushroom and Tonkotsu soup.
It contains 3 different blend of collagen in the soup (think about the beauty you can get 😁). The highlight would be the Kurobuta pork, so soft and flavourful. Can't get enough of the pork! •
This ramen will only be available for a limited time from 17 January to 31 March, at all all three outlets (313, Tampines & Star Vista).
Ramen is loved but nothing beats ichiran in Japan 😝
Hakata ramen :) $11
Woot woots!! ❤ Warning to my Muslim friends, pork contamination, don't look. 🐽
