From a new 黄焖鸡 stall. There's a wide selection of things you can braise and I picked fish. It's extremely simple, just fish, noodle and gravy. The flavour was richer than I expected and the fish was chunky and fresh.
China Whampoa opened here. Unfortunately it's a disaster. I always thought they're guaranteed good. The noodles were undercooked and the seasoning was mainly salty. Perhaps the HQ needs to re-train them.
粗粮渔粉 opened here. It's the first time I'm seeing they have a dry noodle menu, so I tried one. This is the short box so their portion is small relative to their soup dishes. The meatballs were tasty but the sauce was salty.
New curry rice stall after the major overhaul. I'm impressed by the portion. Unfortunately the curry was weirdly bland. The standout was the omelette, which has onions and was fragrant.
This is a dish I wish appears in more places because it's a great combo. They should tone down the seasoning because it's slightly too spicy for noodles.
