Completing our “putok batok” meal is this deep-fried ruffled pork fat, served with chili vinegar
Never tried eating chicharon bulaklak back home cos of its unappetizing look. Never looked back after trying once 😂
Consume with caution though - very high in cholesterol

With a minimum of 2 diners, you can avail their weekend boodle fight special which serves you a platter with the following:
- Chicken Inasal
- Liempo Inasal
- Bbq Isaw
- Pork Bbq
- Pansit Canton
- Jasmine Rice
- Steamed Vegetables
- Salted Egg
(shown in photo is for 3 pax)
Yes, apt to its name, this is all meat 😅 you can opt for seafood or snack-ish set
Enjoyed the pork intestine bbq the most - crisp and cooked well. Pork bbq and liempo inasal has similar sweet & charred flavour profile, slightly heavy and filling. The chicken inasal is not bad as well, prolly the “healthiest” meat on the dish. Steamed veggies (okra, eggplant and sweet potato leaves) could be better, best paired with bagoong (sauteed shrimp paste) and salted egg
Not the best Filipino food here, but enough to fix our cravings
We opted for refillable drinks as well for additional $5++ per head

Konyo is specially curated Filipino cuisines, located at Cuppage Terrace.
We ordered a few dishes to share.
Feature :
💕Sisig Manileno with Egg
💰$20
💰Chicken Inasal (whole)
💰$32
💕Liempo Inasal
💰$16
💕Tilapia with Ensalada Espeyal
💰$32
Overall the food hit and miss, the Inasal items are good, grill to char at outer layer while inside remain juicy and tender.
For the tilapia, it’s fried till very crispy.
Not a fan of the sisig, coz quite salty so we have to pair it with garlic rice.

Customer service is definitely 💯! Back to the food, Konyo served modern Filipino cuisine such as the crispy Tilapia with Ensalada Espesyal that comes with boiled okra, fried eggplant and blanched sweet potato leaf by the side. There is also the Sisig Manileño, which comes in a sizzling hot plate with chopped pig parts and chicken livers in a spicy sour dressing. Best to pair with some rice as the sisig can get too savoury after a few bites. Off the grill, there are the marinated bbq pork and chicken inasal which we all agreed it’s a great sharing platter if you are there with a group.
