I also sampled their scallops from the oyster buffet, and I found the mentaiko style to be more savoury and flavourful, adding a delightful umami touch to the plain scallops.

All include in buffet, still got a few more items. Check them out at their website.
Taste wise quite lacking or overwhelming which make you wonder why you order this but do spam their oysters haha.

Remember when @kakuregasg advertised their oyster buffet at $50++ a few months ago? Well, things have changed since then. Starting from April, they increased the price to $69++, which left many customers frustrated. It seems that the media and influencers showcased it at the previous price, only for visitors to discover the price hike upon their visit. On top of that, they added Aburi cheese scallop and mentaiko scallop to the oyster buffet. The buffet also includes various mini Don options to fill your stomach.

I must admit, their oysters are undeniably fresh, plump, and huge. I slurped down every single oyster to make the most of the buffet. In fact, I had more than 20 pieces just to justify the cost! πŸ˜‚ I tried both the Aburi Cheese and Fresh oysters, and personally, I preferred the fresh ones as they brought out the most natural and delightful taste. Squeezing a bit of lemon over them made them even more enjoyable. Please note that there is a limit per order per round for oysters and scallops to avoid wastage.

I also sampled their scallops, and I found the mentaiko style to be more savoury and flavourful, adding a delightful umami touch to the plain scallops. As for the mini Don options, fried rice, and Yaki soba, I must say I was a bit disappointed. The flavours were either lacking or overwhelming, and the taste and texture didn't quite complement each other.

My suggestion? Go all out on the fresh oysters and mentaiko scallops like we did! πŸ˜‚ Slurp them until you enter a food coma and develop a phobia of oysters for the next few months. Lol. If you're a fan of oysters and can eat a substantial amount, it's worth a visit. Just be prepared for slightly slow service and remember to make a reservation!

Terribly overcooked, tough, yet still no crisp.

Definitely skip

Sunagimo had a stronger than average bite but there's still a strong crunch

Buta shimeji is probably my favourite here, the shimeji is very juicy but it's very hot too. Goes well w the sweet sauce just difficult to eat cos it burns your mouth

Tebasaki is pretty alright, not very crispy but well seasoned
