Nicely grilled and slightly charred on both sides of the fish which gave it a nice crisp texture. Fish was fresh and Hollandaise Sauce was good. Enjoyed this very much.
Succulent & juicy fillet topped with creamy mushroom onion sauce. Think they might have changed their bacon bits for their baked potato, somehow it tasted better. Jack's place is the go to for a fuss free and not too bad beef.
Jack’s Place is such an old school favourite! The options for their weekday set lunch varies each day. This is the Cajun chicken ($13.80++) - while the Cajun spice was lacking, the mustard sauce added an oomph of flavour! The chicken was tender and not at all fatty. It comes with a large serving of boiled vegetables (hidden underneath) and thick cut fries. The set is also served with their soup of the day, drink and dessert of the day. Well worth for a hearty meal!
The set lunch costs $16.20++. French fries in the set was upgraded to their signature baked potato at additional cost of $2.30++, which was well worth. The baked potato was really delicious, although the steak and baked rice with chicken $9.90 were below average in taste.
Always my favourite and a mush order at Jack Place. Comes with a side of garlic bread on the basket. However, soup seems to be not up to their usual standard today.
New zealand tenderlon was served on the sizzling signature cow hot plate with side of baked veggies and baked potato. The waiter will come later with toppings for your potato such as bacon bits, spring onion and sour cream.
