I had their famous mentaiko pasta ($18), chips with truffled mayo ($7) , a very sinful choco banana nutty smoothie ($12) and choco earl grey cake. they're all amazing and i really had a good time there, gobbling all these food up but sadly, that's my first and also my last. hopefully they'll still retain their mentaiko pasta in the future, cause that's really hard to beat!
So we takeaway since we were already there.
When I first visited them few years back, I fell in love with their mentaiko pasta and I am so glad that the taste remains the same!
Good bye and thank you for being one of the pioneer!
Finally got to try this but um, DIDN'T TASTE MUCH SALTED EGG YOLK. Granted, there was unmistakenly a teeny weeny whiff of the salted egg yolk and having the grainy texture asserts the fact that it is indeed, well, salted yolk but the taste was being overpowered by the chocolate that I wonder if the filling was a mixture of both. IT'S STILL GOOD, NEVERTHELESS. It's a pity that this is the first and last time I would get a taste of this.
No wonder, since it's slow-cooked for 6 hours. The 🐖 did not sacrifice in vain.
Go try it before Five & Dime bids goodbye for good on 29 April. Trust me, your tongue and tummy will thank you for it.
This cake is recommended for those who likes dessert less sweet. Though the taste of tea in the cake is very subtle, it tastes more like chocolate mousse cake which is also enjoyable.
This dessert is really cutesy and yummy. Though a tad too sweet for my liking, the date really enjoyed this dish wholly. They literally drizzled condensed milk over the Panna cotta 😂
