Long Queue on a weekday lunch time.

Chance upon this place when I send my car for servicing nearby.

Being undecided on what to get here, I decided I will just have everything.

Soup had a subtle sweetness to it. It tasted like a mixture of fish and pork soup.

The fish slices and pork liver were ok, but the fried fish was the champion. The fried fish batter tasted very food and was a good pairing with the soup.

The stall doesn’t have any name, selling fish soup, mixed Organ soup and seafood soup.
the queue is very long ( the uncle prepare one by one bowl )

I ordered mixed fish soup with bee Hoon,The soup was tasty and sweeter (I think from the Chinese cabbage) with a hint of Chinese wine ,the sliced fish was thick and fresh Meanwhile the fried fish was crispy.

This is a no name fish soup stall located in the same coffeeshop as the famous Poh Cheu Ang Ku Kueh. There was a long queue at this stall when I was running some errands in the area so I decided to check it out.

The soup stock is subtly sweet yet robust and is distinctly mellower than other stalls. The recipe is apparently a closely guarded secret but is said to be made without the use of fish, pork or chicken bones.

The sliced fish is rather ordinary but their fried fish is excellent. The batter remains amazingly crisp even after being soaked in the soup and the fish remains tender.

I usually give fried fish a miss for health reasons but this is one place where I will gladly give the sliced fish version a miss instead!

P.S. the chilli is really feisty too!
