Had the sichuan pork noodles, fried pierogi and salted plum wolfberry pu-erh tea.
The drink sounded interesting but wasnβt as tasty as I thought it will be. Sichuan pork noodles had the taste of the right spices. What stood out for me was the fried pierogi. Itβs something not commonly found in SG, the mashed potato and bacon mixture just taste so good together with the slight crunchy dumpling skin.
Place is small, abit dark and really noisy. Will recommend to go with just a friend. Not exactly a place for date.
2nd time dining at this outlet, itβs one of me & my bff favorite spot! Lunch set is super worth, comes with a bowl of noodle, a drink & 4pcs of dumplings.
Our must order dumplings:
- Fried pierogi: how I would describe this to my friends is itβs a fusion of Chinese food with angmoh invasion cos itβs filled with potato, bacon and cheese!
- Smoke duck: how can I not order this! Smoke duck and balsamic vinaigrette goes so well together!
Ps: itβs always crowded, so do remember to reserve first!
got the smoked duck + original dumplings ($8 each)!! and the sichuan pork noodles too :D feel like the flavours here are so complex and well thought-out, overall 9/10
My friend has been seeing review online about this hence in invited me to try.
We ordered the dumpling platter ($15) and braised pork ramen ($8).
I like how the shopkeeper pay attention to detail by offering us individual plate even though we never asked for it. The dumpling is served separately for each flavour which is very delightful to see.
The ramen is delicious and even better than lots of Japanese ramen that I have tried. The dumpling has lots of bold flavour which I am amazed.
Overall, I really enjoyed my meal.
got the lunch set for $17++ and the burpple beyond deal! quite worth it as we saved around $12. the bowl of noodles isn't that big of a portion, but still very yummy nonetheless! the dumplings are really good too, we got the smoked duck and sichuan and it was vv yumz ππ sichuan was pretty much chilli oil dumplings! would come back again βοΈβοΈ
