Party in your mouth: Medium rare wagyu chunks, marinaded with sea salt and seared to perfection. Foie gras is top notch - golden brown outside and creamy within. No gamey smells here. Truffle ,fried garlic chips and runny onsen egg make for a flavourful combination. 10/10 would eat again.
[+] Service is great! The place was basically empty when we reached and the lady taking our orders was super nice and patient
[+] Truffle wagyu don js niceee. but at the same time, I feel like it lacks a ‘wow’ factor for me to go back and have it again.
[-] On the pricier side and there are many other good/cheaper jap food in the area so doesn’t seem like a ‘must’ to eat there
Doesn’t seem like a crowded place (yet), so you can just drop by to have a meal if you feel like having quality, satisfying japanese don!
The best time to come here during lunch time would be public holiday and you still get to enjoy their lunch special, without the CBD lunch crowds.
Their staff was really friendly and always paying attention to us. Our hot green tea will always filled throughout our time here.
The katsu was really crispy and tender. Curry was great also. $13++ (Lunch Set)
The Dragon Maki, was really underwhelming compared to the rest of the dishes I tried. Would recommend going for their lunch sets instead!
like the name, this dish consists of the above mentioned ingredient, as well as Ikura. The foie gras was sandwiched between the scallops which was bent in half, so it looks like a mini kung ba pao. While the ingredients used was fresh, I didn’t like that the scallop was torched till it was rather dry. It was still sinfully indulgent nonetheless!
Everything here was commendable, from the food, right down to the service. Ordered the Wagyu Truffle Foie Gras Don lunch set to share because we wanted to save space for the other mains that we wanna try. When the staff learned that we were sharing, they very kindly split the portion into 2 separate bowls to make it easier for us. How considerate! The donburi was tasty, with a generous amount of sauce drizzled over the rice, with indulgent foie gras and wagyu to top it off. Warm service and good food? Heck yeah, I’m coming back again!
