Tldr - perfect place for cozy gathering who loves American comfort food
Chicken ‘N’ Watermelon ‘N’ Waffles - star dish. Chicken is super crispy and yummy, watermelon got some spiced for a twist, while waffle is so-so for me.
Smoked Pork Ribs - warm, tender, and fatty. The waiter recommended us to eat this first as it wouldn’t be as nice when we eat it cold.
Mac & Cheese - baked macaroni in five artisanal cheeses and crispy herb crust. This can make a mac & cheese hater to have a second serving!
Please note the portion is rather big. So they are meant to be for sharing. I also loved the cozy wooden ambience, reminding me of the American cottage house.

The Cheddar Cheese Waffles retain a fluffy soft texture and light bready sweet savoury cheesy flavour, very appetizing.

The Spiced Watermelon carries the savoury spicy kick of the seasonings (powdered cumin, powdered coriander, salt, lime juice, lemon juice, chili, mint leaves) at the front, then the refreshing juicy fruity sweet flavour of the watermelon at the back.

The Southern Fried Chicken has 4 pieces of all-natural farm fresh chicken, brined for up to 27 hours, then battered in a house secret recipe blend of flour and spices and deep-fried.

The chicken meat is moist with sweet savoury flavour and comes clean off the bone, while the chicken skin is crisp and non-greasy with robust herbal savoury salty flavour.

a thin crispy bacon sits atop 2 poached eggs with crab cakes beneath it. the base was made up of breaded green tomatoes!
this dish fared better then the bacon hash waffles
truly enjoy the creamy scrambled eggs but i can’t say the same for the bacon hash waffles which formed the base. it was rather thick and not very crispy. feels like i’m eating mashed up potato with something.

The fried chicken is amazing. It’s soft, juicy and tender. The sections tears apart easily, making it easier to eat each part. The waffle doesn’t really have much taste on its own. It is soft and chewy, but a little bland. The spiced watermelon gives a refreshing taste, cleansing your palate after every bite.

Almost midweek break got us salivating over Yardbird’s fried chicken🤤Usually not a huge fan of breast meat but Yardbird’s was still juicy, not at all dry👍🏻 The spiced watermelon🍉 gave the dish an interesting and refreshing twist but didn’t do much for us😅Another highlight of the dish would be the bourbon maple syrup which you could drench your waffles in🍯🧇 The smoked pork ribs was also another dish we were looking forward to try- from their presentation when they lift off the lid and you get that delicious whiff to the fall off the bone tender meat, yums!!☺️😌Overall, we would say come back from the mains, especially for the fried chicken✨
Costly. But food is nice and fresh. Environment is soft and cosy. The watermelon is unique cos it is spicy.

The chicken well marinated, juicy and cripsy, meanwhile the waffles was savoury with the hint of cheddar cheese, served with bourbon maple Syrup and spiced watermelon.
