Can't believe almost a month has past since we dined at Burnt Ends... 😐 It was tough getting a reservation towards the end of last year, but we were lucky to have scored one! We had an absolutely amazing dining experience. From small plates, main courses, to dessert🍬, the food was exquisitely presented and we loved the combination of flavours. Do try their Blackmores' cube roll🥩...it's THAT good! 😌

Took advantage of Cedele's 25th anniversary discount and tried their mains😬! The Mushroom Medley Pasta fared better as we liked the taste of the cashew cream pasta🍝 with mushrooms🍄 and broccolini, but it got a little heavy towards the end. We'll probably just be sticking to their cakes next time, especially the Carrot Walnut Cake which is our all-time favourite☺️!

Took advantage of Cedele's 25th anniversary discount and tried their mains😬! Was excited for the Beetroot Avocado🥑 Burger but was pretty disappointed that they didn't have the spinach bun that day, as we really wanted to try it🥯. Also, we didn't exactly fancy the taste and texture of the beetroot patty and found it too mushy for our liking.

Spied a few new dishes on Spago's menu since the last time we went so we just had to try it👀! The biggest surprise was definitely the desserts. First up, the Traditional Kaiserschmarrn! The serving for this was hugeee, even when shared between two👭. The pancake had a soft and custardy texture to it. And as it was served warm, it contrasted well with the cold strawberry ice cream🍦. A really nice and comforting dessert😍! The Tarte au Chocolat was equally good too with it's super rich and intense chocolate flavour🍫, and the hazelnuts and cacao tuile adding a nice crunchy texture to it. A great sweet end to the meal~😆

Really enjoyed our dinner at Le Bon Funk the other day, a meal which consisted of interesting flavours and textures😮. The foie gras toast🍞, in particular, was really interesting as it was served cold and the foie gras just melts in your mouth when you bite into it❄️. However, as all the dishes we ordered had pretty strong flavours, the meal did get a little heavy towards the end😕. Finished the meal with a delectable dark chocolate and rosemary caramel tart, the perfect sweet end to our dinner🍫!

Back to Burger & Lobster for their Lobster Roll and loved the generous serving of lobster meat in the brioche roll✨🦞✨Probably the only item we would get from their menu- tried the original lobster previously and wasn’t too impressed😂

Visited Salted and Hung a while ago and had such a great experience! Every dish was plated exquisitely, it was a feast for our eyes🤩. Our favourites were the Ebi and Seaweed Muffin, IPA Sourdough🥐 with Whipped Lard and Wakame Butter, Prawn Butter Risotto🍤 and Fermented Pear & Sage Ice Cream. These were really some interesting and bold flavour combinations that worked super well together. The Fermented Pear & Sage Ice Cream acted as the perfect palate cleanser, a refreshing course that we needed towards the end of the meal🍦. Perhaps we were getting a little too full, the Gold'N Gaytime dessert was a tad too creamy and heavy for us. Nonetheless, a superb dining experience🤗! Also note that we’ve visited quite a while ago, hence the menu could've changed slightly🤏

Honestly we've never had Marche's breakfast before, it was always more of a dinner place for us but today we finally got the chance to tried out their breakfast☀️! It was also our first time having a puffle (cute name btw), which is a crossover between a pastry and waffle🧇. Really interesting texture, it's not soft like a waffle nor super flaky, but still quite crispy and we really enjoyed this😲! We loved that it was topped with lots of muesli, nuts and berries🍓 in some yogurt (we think), which made it a nice sweet breakfast that was not heavy at all. Highly recommend👍!!
On the other hand, while Marche's Rosti🥔 is a crowd favourite and also one of our must-orders, it's probably not that suitable for breakfast as it was on the greasy end. Also, we got served a premade rosti which was a little cold when we ate it🥲. Would probably stick to their puffle sets or other bakery items in the future for breakfast!

While we can't dine out soon again, glad we managed to try Angie's the other day. Went during lunch and glad they had a good mix of brunch and mains available😊. Had to get some oysters to start off and their oysters are really really fresh!! The oysters were creamy and meaty, a great start to our meal🦪. On to the mains, though we thought their food was seasoned a little on the heavier side, we actually really loved the flavours, with our favourites being the mussels and lobster🦞 benedict. Definitely a seafood lover's heaven~

•Salted Caramel Soufflé
O M G have been eyeing the Soufflé as we’re huge fans of Soufflé💃We were recommended to have the Soufflé, Fuji Apple Sorbet and Crème Fraiche in the same mouthful and we did just that- loved how all 3 components paired really well together and the airy Soufflé texture💭What a beautiful ending to our meal😌💕

The Laksa Spring Rolls is always our must order from Spago’s lunch menu so we had to try the Laksa dish for dinner. The Laksa broth was thick and flavourful but the noodles were a little too clumpy. The Laksa Spring Rolls definitely still remains as one of our favourite🥰

•Burrata with Confit Kumquats
•Charcoal Grilled Octopus (+10)
Simply love Spago’s pairing especially pairing the Kumquats🟠with Burrata really elevated the dish with an interesting twist! The Octopus was also super tender and be sure to enjoy it with the kaffir lime aioli☺️
