Pork belly, omelette, cabbage, kung pao fish. As expected, the pork felt really unhealthy. Although the Malaysian staff didn't do anything to me, they were shouting in the stall and it's really unpleasant.

Acceptable but normal lah.

Pairing fried wantons with Ipoh horfun was quite shiok.

Ordered a cup of Milo Peng (Iced Milo) and instead of getting the usual freshly brewed Milo, I got the UHT packet version instead. It’s uncommon for a Kopitiam to serve their Milo in this version so I went up to the stall to check if I could get an exchange. And the drink stall Auntie simply put the blame on me saying “you should have requested for brewed version earlier!” in Chinese. So I replied “no other Kopitiam serves packet Milo as default so how would I have known if you guys didn’t ask?”
And just as Auntie was about to exchange my drink, she asked “so how u drank this cup of Milo?”, to which I replied I did, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to verify that this is the UHT version. She stopped and said “you drink already cannot exchange. Next time say earlier”

I wonder why the Auntie was so concerned about me drinking my cup of Milo — was she intending to serve it to the next customer if I hadn’t? And what is this logic of blame-shifting when the drink stall didn’t even highlight there’s two versions of Milo upfront?

Conclusion is that I failed to get my drink exchanged, and I also returned my Milo to the stall.

Pls avoid irresponsible drink stall at all cost.

The Western food stall here is Tenderfresh. Not bad. Came with fries and garlic bread.

This neighborhood fixture sells Ipoh horfun in various forms. Of course, crabsticks are nothing to hao lian haha.
