Delicious and decent amount of meat. Good thing that it is not salty which you get at most places.
Quinoa overload !
I am loving this quinoa salad from Cedele.
A mixture of toufu , shimeiji mushrooms , chickpeas , French beans and chopped capsicums in a tangy vinaigrette .
Munch , munch , munch .....
After a week in starving mode (skipping lunch & ignoring my hunger pangs), it’s time to unwind, relax and enjoy time with people (& food!) I 💗. Kickstarting my Sunday on a full and satisfied stomach (no more stomach rumblings ~ at least for today) with Cedele’s hearty and wholesome All-Day set @ $13.80 that includes bacon, ham, sautéed mushrooms, scrambled eggs and toast with a cup of coffee + some quality time with my loved ones.

I find Cedele's standards highly inconsistent. The United Square outlet is a particularly bad - the two slices of bread encased a meager slice of smoked salmon, and was unacceptably dry. The service was equally lackluster: quite apart from the service staff's stony expressions, their overzealous attempts at clearing the table had one staff member leaning in and snatching away my receipt/serving tray without even first asking me.
Incredibly impressed by cedele’s refreshing take on the conventional cheesecake. Each bite comes with a mellow citrus-y kick that diffuses through the other constituents and rounds off the taste nicely. The entire slice - though minuscule in comparison to the other flavors - was savoured down to the last crumb!
On the other hand, the chocolate cake was rather bland. Sponge was dry and espresso barely discernible; the thick mushy banana layer overwhelmed all in terms of texture and taste.
Having tried some of their other offerings, it’s fair to conclude that their items are hit and miss. But I’ll definitely be back to sift out the gems!
Back at one of my favourite comfort food places—Cedele 💖
The DIY salad here comes with either 1 or 2 proteins ($9.90/$10.90). Ordered mine with 2 proteins, namely the tofu quinoa stir-fry and grilled chicken. Both tasted really good, especially the former which had me craving for more the moment I finished the portion on my plate hehe. My four toppings were eggplants, sweet potatoes, broccoli and edamame beans. I love the grilled eggplants served at Cedele as they are always incredibly juicy! Picked the honey paprika sauce as my choice of dressing, which went pretty well with my salad.
Overall, I love how affordable this salad was, without compromising on the portion size as this was a pretty large serving :) Do take note that the DIY salad is only available at Cedele's Bakery Cafe outlets 😊
