Crispy yam dumpling came with honey roasted pork tucked inside, the crust is light and flaky with a savoury‑sweet filling. Shrimp dumplings were plump though I would have preferred the skin a little thinner. Steamed spareribs were tender and savoury.

The roasted combination platter stood out with char siu carrying caramelised edges and a tender bite, roasted pork belly offering crisp crackling with a good fat‑to‑meat balance and dang gui duck that was tender with a subtle herbal aroma. Noodles with greens had a springy bite and a savoury sauce that paired well with the richness of the roasts, tying the meal together without overshadowing them. Altogether, the roasts felt like the centrepiece with dim sum dishes adding variety and balance around them.

Springy egg noodles with char siu and greens, tossed in a dark soy sauce that kept things simple. The dry wantons were soft and tasty, something I don’t usually see in SG. Overall, it has an old‑school vibe, the kind of meal that feels familiar yet a little different at the same time.

Brought back a few soup packs to slowly enjoy. I love soup, and these instant packs make it much easier. Each pre‑packed set already has the right ratio of herbs and ingredients for a nourishing, heart‑warming soup. All I need to do is boil the pack for 30 minutes and viola, delicious savoury soup. The taste is exactly like a typical home‑cooked soup, without the hassle of simmering for hours. You can also add more ingredients to suit your preference and enhance the flavour. Clear instructions are provided, so even if you do not know how to cook, it is easy to follow.

Buy more, save more, and receive a free gift* while stocks last, but this promotion is only available up north. For example, a thermal flask is given with purchases of at least 8 pack, and a better thermal flask with digital function if you buy at least 12 pack. These soup packs are also sold in Singapore if you prefer convenience, though the price is cheaper up north.

Brought back their instant mee suah to enjoy at home. They offer four different types:

- Sesame Oil Ginger Wine & Herbs Chicken
- Superior XO Sauce
- Herbal Chicken Soup
- Mountain Pepper Pork Tripe Soup

I have tried all before, and they were delicious. My favourites are the Superior XO Sauce and the Sesame Oil Ginger Wine & Herbs Chicken. The noodles were smooth, silky, and slurpy. The instant seasoning packs were generous and bold, each delivering tastisfying flavour to indulge in.

Woah, what!? So wobbly and smooth. Surprised by the silky chilled texture that melts in your mouth. The ginger paste was thick and sweet, pairing beautifully with the chilled beancurd. Good thing I only poured half a cup, since it was intensely caramelised sweet with infused ginger. Definitely recommend trying this. If you do not eat ginger, they also have a caramelised version. Always nice to end a meal with a good dessert.

A small jug, good for three pax. Chilled and sourish, with a light sweetness. Refreshing after a meal. Said to benefit the throat, help recover the voice, and relieve soreness.

Piping hot rice infused with earthy, chewy mushroom, savoury minced meat, crunchy long beans, and mushy yet crunchy yam, steamed over homemade pork broth. Mix well before eating to avoid burnt bits. A little char is fine since “锅巴” scorched rice is worth the risk. XD

Portion was filling. It may look small outside, but the pot is deep inside. Rice was topped to the brim before the ingredients were arranged over it for a more appealing look. The yam was well executed, either par‑boiled then fried or fried with water added to oil. Mushrooms were generous and paired well with rice. Although the rice was steamed with pork‑based broth, the flavour felt light and the overall texture a little dry. A drizzle of sauce would have enhanced it, but too much broth risks turning the rice into porridge. Offering dark soya sauce condiments would let customers adjust to their own liking.

Simply irresistible. Whenever I am in Malaysia and spot this on the menu, you will most likely see me order it. Silky, slurpy, chewy noodles in a rich, savoury, fragrant broth infused with ginger, herbs, and a potent splash of gourmet yellow wine. Topped with red dates, ginger slices, shredded ginger, chicken meat, and a fried egg.

That distinct wine note with a strong gingery spice kick comforts the soul and warms the body. It is also said to help with blood circulation. The chicken was tender in parts, though some portions felt dry, and it came with plenty of bone, so eat carefully. The fried egg was fine, but for better presentation the yolk should have been intact and slightly runny. The broth leaned watery, making the flavour feel a little diluted. I am not sure if it was cooked from an instant mee suah package or from scratch, but I will give them the benefit of doubt.

After eating, you can even buy their instant mee suah product to bring back to Singapore at a slightly cheaper price here. This dish is more commonly found in Malaysia than in Singapore. If you know of any place serving it in Singapore, do let me know as I would love to try.

The kailan leaves were fried till light and crispy, almost like veggie chips, then finished with a fluffy layer of meat floss that added a sweet-savoury touch. Every bite was crisp, airy and disappears fast once it hits the table 》RM23.30 / Small

The tofu was golden and crisp on the outside, soft inside, soaking up a savoury sauce that was rich without being heavy. The minced meat added depth and texture, while the pickled vegetables gave a bright, tangy lift that balanced everything out. Loved the contrast and it is great with rice 》RM16.30 / Small

The duck is a standout with crispy skin, juicy meat and that gentle herbal depth that makes each bite feel comforting. What really stood out is the sauce. It’s rich, fragrant and so good that I find myself drizzling it over every spoonful of rice. A dish that feels both indulgent, nourishing and one that easily earns repeat orders 》RM26 / Upper Quarter

(RM 27.90) I really takeaway food from city square jb for first time at least I can get home very early lol ard 2 hrs lol. But then the salted egg v unique so usually sg don't served this. But I really like their meat texture even though I went to reheat after heading back to home.
