I canβt help but praise Blue Willow's best-selling Grilled Pork Loin ($16+) for being beautiful. A thick round of meat sits elegantly on a bed of chopped vegetables. It has dark sauce underneath and is topped with chunky apple chutney, a peeled cherry tomato, eggplant pesto mashed potato, and finished with a tuile. Dollops of pesto mayo sauce, squares of purple beets, and thin slices of radish surround it.

I smelled this one before I saw it. The meaty chunk is quite lean with a strong flavour, making it a heavy meal. It's chewy without being overdone and tough. Give a thumbs up to the pesto flavour in the mashed potato and the soft, crunchy mushrooms and zucchini underneath. The house-made sauce is interesting to figure out and thick sweet black sauce β like the one in fried carrot cake β was one of its ingredients.
Love this cake! Well proportions of cake, mousse, cream. The chocolate bits that pop in the mouth is quite a fun.
Opened by the folks behind platform 1094 and FFL fresh fruits lab, you could be sure their quality of food is pretty awesome! We ordered da bomb burger, grilled barramundi and the butterfly pea blue latte with maple syrup. Everything was fantastic!

Eywa Natural Blue Carbonara ($14) is served in what reminds me of a black flying saucer π½ At @bluewillowsg blue pasta fills the centre of the plate, and is garnished with a sous vide egg, thin slices of red radish, rocket leaves, and a tuile. Thick cream clings to the thin strands as you twirl up a forkful of pasta, releasing a delicious scent of sauteed bacon. Itβs savoury without being cloying, with slices of button mushrooms adding texture and taste. The egg yolk breaks and mixes into the noodles, adding richness, while the rocket leaves lifts its flavour. As eager as I was to scarf down this carbonara, I felt myself sink into its flavours which made me enjoy it nice and slow.
@freshfruitslab and @platform1094 has a sister cafe in the West known as @bluewillowsg which serves food that's naturally coloured a shade of blue. With weekends brunches till 3pm, they switch up your quintessential breakfast food.

Neytiriβs Blue Pancake Stack ($14) settles a sleep-in Sunday with three thick and blue pancakes. Dyed with butterfly pea π¦, they're pan-fried till brown and fluffy, and the batter is served syrup-soaked. The stack doesn't taste particularly striking with homey flavour, but it is studded with blue maple sago, blueberries, strawberries π, and crumbles that taste like sweet cookies βΊοΈ
