Funny how they're publicised as young hawkers but it's an uncle and auntie when we visited. Regardless, the experience of the brand showed. Not the top tier of chicken rice but every component was competent.
The 5nett option has no chicken
It's alright, a serviceable plate of fried rice with ckn, nothing particularly stood out, soup was nice
No need to travel, the kampong ckn isn't as good as you expect and the novelty is nothing special at all

Newly open(aug 2021), Ah Five Hainanese run by siblings, continue the father legacy with r&d recipe for 60 years.
We tried their signature chicken rice.
The frangant rice served with kampung chicken. Even its chicken breast, is not dry and served with their homemade chilli, ginger (taste similar to soup restaurant ginger 🤩) and dark soya sauce.
💰$5.

Managed by new generation hawkerpreneuers, they are still maintaining the traditional recipe of using kampung chicken. Rice was very flavourful with a nice ginger garlic aroma, chicken was tender to the bite and the accompany condiments of chilli and ginger sauces played a major role in ensuring this plate of Kampung Chicken Rice ($5) is a winner. Besides the regular rice and porridge, they have a dish of fried rice with the poached chicken, a dish that warrants a return in the near future.
