A new spot for a fun night out with good friends over a darn good lobster? Sounds about right. Choose from Live Whole Lobster (steamed or grilled), Lobster Roll or the Chili lobster. Burppler Jasper describes the Lobster Roll as, "😍 Chunks of marinated lobster flesh (a whole lobster is used) tossed with mayo and chives stuffed between divinely buttery buns. Sorry but I ain't gonna be sharing this next time we're down at #pinceandpints..." At $48++ per dish, this is a good place for a birthday celebrations or date nights!
Opened by the Les Amis Group, Comnam serves up Vietnamese cơm tấm, giving Singaporeans a taste of Vietnam that is rarely offered here. Cơm tấm is a Vietnamese dish made with broken rice and is usually served with grilled pork. At Comnam, try the pork cutlet rice bowl, which comes with pork strips, pickled vegetables, and a tamago omelette. You get to choose between Vietnamese broken rice and kimchi brown rice, though you should try the broken rice first. At $9.90 for a set lunch, portions are generous and make for a filling meal.
FIX, a brand new cafe opened by the people behind GRUB, brings you the naanwich. These signature naan/sandwich fusions come with a variety of fillings like chicken tikka, smoked turkey ham & cheese, and even beef & kimchi, all nicely wrapped in soft naan and served with a side of cheesy nachos. Be sure to try their range of desserts, which are all made in-house. Located at HomeTeamNS @ Balestier, you'll even get to enjoy good food with a poolside view. Not too shabby.

Found another goody for my breakfast. Sure, it's practically invisible alongside the heftier, more colourful and exciting-sounding sandwiches on display but at $4, this is the cheapest. Plus it tastes damn good.
After being warmed up, the croissant looks a little deflated but its butteriness is brought strongly to the fore (which is way more important!) The Emmenthal cheese has become all gooey, glueing the ham and croissant into a gratifying yumminess.
It's nothing fancy (in terms of cooking a lobster), but sometimes simplicity is all that a luxurious ingredient needs. Served with fries (I wish they double or even triple-fried these so they'd be crisper on the outside), salad, and herb butter, the succulent lobster meat laced with a fragrant smokiness deserves every bit of its $48 price tag.
Love everything about this brunch spot. Amazing food at amazing prices
Not the crispy crusted kind of waffles but still taste pretty decent (didn't opt for cream cheese!)
Everything pretty and cute and the taste isn't compromised, pretty decent waffles and cafe latte
