I really liked this sweet and spicy fried chicken, but perhaps it would be better for 2pax instead of 3. Although we had a spread of other dishes as well, i still felt like i didn’t quite have enough of this.
It came with tteokbokki and sweet potato fries and both were well coated in the delicious sauce. But I still can’t help but feel slightly cheated cos then i realised the chicken pieces were lesser than it seems. Perhaps i would return another day and dine without my Eatigo discount to see if the serving is the same 🤔
Tucked away at the back of a korean mart, this hidden place is quite a gem. The spread we had were delicious & pretty authentic. Only gripe would be it seemed a little pricey for the portions. (Not sure if it had anything to do with the 20% discount we got from making a reservation through Eatigo🤔)
The seafood pancake & pork gimbap were my personal favourite 👍🏻🤤 I would definitely return!
Lovely dim sum lunch with a daily promotion ongoing now for Marina Square branch!
There’s a new item (not pictured cos we were too busy tucking in!) where you can choose between half roast duck or whole roast duck and they will serve it in 4 cooking methods - peking duck, duck with noodles or fried rice, a soup and duck with salad sauce wrapped in vegetable roll. I felt it was rather value for money as you can try a variety of dishes ☺️👍🏻
Their dim sum were freshly prepared and piping hot as well. Service was friendly and attentive. The staff were constantly checking our teapot and if we needed new clean plates, and clearing the table of the empty ones.
Would definitely be back again!
Fried chicken were crispy on the outside yet tender & juicy on the inside. Flavourful with hints of spices. We bought additional truffle mayo dip (not pictured) and it was really good as well; really fragrant! Highly recommend getting it to go with the fries!
I opted for the tomato oregano rice. The chicken rice taste was strong and I couldn’t quite taste the tomato but no complaints though cos the rice was very fragrant & tasty. Had the iced honey lime tea which was a refreshing way to end the meal!
Overall a great meal with polite and friendly service staff :) perhaps the location is still slowly building up cos we saw most of the units were empty. But given that the place is accessible as it is near the bus stop, I will definitely be returning!
Always had a soft spot for Japanese cafes and this quiet little place reminded me of the cozy corners of Shimokitazawa in Tokyo. The Japanese style potato salad was really good but I wished the yolk of the soft boiled egg was more 'oozy'. That said, i still cleaned out my plate. (And that was having had a bowl of noodles just 3hrs earlier😆)
Highly recommend washing down your meal with the iced mix fruit tea; it was a light and refreshing end to the savoury sausage and bacon.
Favourite place for 油鸡烧肉饭! $4 or $4.50 (not too sure; usually Dad's the one ordering 😄) for a plate of soy sauce chicken plus roasted meat rice. The sound of the crispy roasted pork skin crackling in my mouth is a absolute delight😍. Each plate of rice comes with a generous bowl of complimentary soup of the day. Not the small bowl of colourless soup with a few measly spring onions floating around. But a solid big bowl of soup with ingredients in it. So far I've had lotus root with peanuts soup, szechuan vegetable soup and corn with carrot soup(as pictured). There's even chicken feet or chunks of pork bones in the soup. Yay to good food at good value 👍🏻😋
This 'All Topping' version is so satisfying & filling. It comes with aburi belly chashu, chashu, black fungus, spring onion & ajitsuke tamago. The aburi chashu is so tender & flavourful; even the fatty parts are almost melt in your mouth. It was so good that it made the chashu pale slightly in comparison. The ajitsuke tamago was also perfectly done too - flavourful and oozing it's orangey yolk👍🏻😍
Ordered the gyoza and it was pretty good too. The gyoza skin was not too thick; the bottom has a nice crisp while the top part maintained a light chewy texture.
I love that I can customise my ramen; from flavour to noodle type and hardness. I love the complimentary beansprouts & corn. Overall, a place that I'm definitely adding to my list of favourite ramen joints in SG.
Huge portion of lightly battered chicken cutlet stuffed with mozzarella. Served with potato wedges, greens & either toast or rice. This plate has it all🙌🏻
Everything about this is on point.
Well balanced with vege, meat & mushrooms & absolutely flavourful.
Simple but hits all the right notes.
The clams & fried egg makes this dish very flavourful. I love the chewy QQ noodles too! It kinda reminded me of the those white bee hoon with prawns and stuff but this had a more homecooked taste. Totally true to its name! The service staff were very friendly too👍🏻😊
Yummy & light. Perfect to go with the heavy flavoured Hokkien Mee we had.
Generous chunks of crab meat & fluffy egg white in thick broth over fried beancurd. So glad we ordered this! Now... the only thing is I'm a westie who happened to be in this end of the island for that day 😐
A great pairing with the spicy grilled skewers.
The broth was chilled & tangy (hints of lime and chilli padi??). Very refreshing with crunchy cucumber slices and love how the noodles were oh so chewy😍.
