Just Awesome.

Great tasting skewers that are well marinated & brought to us in grilled state. We just need to keep them nice and toasty on the heated box on our table and could happily start digging in. Bbq without the hassle👍🏻 and everything is still hot but not burnt. Really like the peppery marinade that wasn't so overly spicy that you can't enjoy the skewers. Particularly enjoyed the chicken wings - i wonder how long they marinated the meat for. It was super tasty and the meat was easy to bite and tear with just a pair of chopsticks. The scallops & potato slices (potato chips??) were also our favourite😍

Remember to get the Lao Te beer as well. It's light & refreshing and goes really well with all the grilled food👍🏻

Finally get to try this place despite passing by all the time and staring at it longingly.

Everything about this place felt "so Jap", it was like being back in Tokyo again. Major love😍 (and we have not even started eating yet!) From the sliding door at the entrance to the welcome greetings being called out cheerily, to the little shop space furnished in dark colored wood. The chefs were busy in the open concept kitchen, dishing out bowls of ramen and plates of gyozas. The lady who took our order knelt by our table side (in total Jap-style no less!), attentively noting our choices on a little clipboard.

I had the Ajitama-uma ($14.90). The pork flavoured shoyu broth was thick and flavourful but strangely not too salty and did not leave me feeling thirsty. It was reminiscent of the ones I had in Tokyo. Their famous thick-cut chashu was grilled to smoky perfection and the huge ajitama was well seasoned and oozing golden yolk. Loved their generous toppings of the seasoned bamboo shoots (don't be deceived by the pic cos they were all hidden under that awesome thick broth) and spring onions too.

Definitely my one of my top favourite places for Japanese ramen in SG now. Can't wait to go back again😍!

Interesting mix of asian Laksa sauce and western spaghetti. Although...it doesn't quite taste like the usual Laksa sauce. Something spicy yes, perhaps something coconut-y as well...maybe it just needs more curry leaves for the aroma of laksa sauce to be more present🤔.

For $9.90 a plate though, i think it is pretty decent, be it taste or serving portion. The staff are always friendly and polite too👍🏻

Unlike the House Special Ramyeon where i highly doubted the luncheon meat being used were real Spam, this one probably is.

I don't know if it has to do with the dish being torched but everything was quite tough to chew on by the time we ate this cos we were eating the ramyeon first. Perhaps don't wait too long to eat this if you do order. The torching didn't give that nice 'smoky' fragrance one would usually expect. And there was nothing dynamite about the sauce either.

Fascinating to watch and interesting presentation but not something I would return for. As with my thoughts about their ramyeon in the earlier post, I would rather go to Manna Story a few units away if I'm craving Korean food.

I didn't think this was as good as the 'Best Seller' tag made it out to be. The soup was diluted and the kimchi was rather bland; definitely not the 'special spicy soup' i was looking forward to. Sis & I both agreed it tasted somewhat like Maggi curry noodle 😂.

I think the biggest disappointment was the luncheon meat. The menu said it was 'spam'. Previous reviews said the 'spam' was soaking up the flavourful soup. But in my honest opinion, i don't think it's spam at all and i think i eat enough of it at home to tell. It tasted like those cheap brands of luncheon meat my Mum always nag my Dad for buying.

Not a fan of bingsoo so I didn't order any desserts. Perhaps that's what they are known for (going by the name duh..) But honestly I would say head to Manna Story a few units away for really good Korean food. Then maybe come here for the desserts.

The salted egg sauce was really good. But I wished the sotong pieces were cut smaller; it was a tad tough and hard to cut/chew when they are such big chunks.

Ordered a large portion ($15) for our family of 4.

Love the broth for the sweetness of the prawns & sotong; in fact they were so generous with the seafood my mum said she wished there were lesser sotong cos it was "too much" 😅

I just want to say Han's has one of the most value-for-money breakfast sets around - $5.80 to $7.20. Choose between bacon (my personal fave!), ham or sausage & then between sunny side up or scrambled eggs. It comes with butter toast and your choice of coffee or tea.

In my opinion, they have got their scrambled eggs recipe perfected👍🏼. Buttery and not too plastic or eggy. Cooked to the scrumptious kind of runny. And in the most perfect shade of yellow😍.

I'm sheepish to admit it was my first time trying Song Fa. The long queues always scare me off. Thanks to the parents who queued for this meal, I can now tick this off my wishlist. But i will without a doubt willingly queue for it from now on.

The food was so good i finally understood the constant queues. Soup was just the right kind of peppery and always refilled piping hot. The beancurd skin looks plain but turned out to be really flavourful! Even the sister, who is not a fan of tofu-anything, said it was good👍🏼 The noh-hiang (not pictured) was delicious too. Crisp skin and not too 'porky' in taste(if i make any sense at all😬).

To top off the good food, the service was impressive too. Efficient in handling the queues, taking orders while you're waiting in line, and very quickly filling your table with food the moment you get your seat. The staff were super attentive in refilling our draining soup bowls with fresh hot soup and in my personal opinion, it honestly makes a big difference to constantly have piping hot soup throughout the meal (the Cantonese in me is majorly pleased!)

Overall a really shiokkk experience😍

$4.90/piece , $13.80/3pcs

Deep fried to a perfect brown and served with their homemade dip which in my opinion almost stole the show from the fish. Almost like light soy sauce but with a tinge of sweetness and packing lots of chopped garlic. I started by dabbing a bit of the dip on my fish, then progressed to drizzling and eventually simply dunking in the little sauce plate😍👍🏼

Wasn't expecting this to turn out to be one of the best laksa I ever had. But wow. Begitu sedap!!😋👍🏼Super satisfying portion too😍 - 2 huge tiger prawns, generous chunks of chicken meat, brinjals & tau pok.

I might or might not have been grinning from ear to ear after my meal🙂🙃🙂🙂

Cake was a little dry but the salted buttercream and caramel drizzle saves the day. It did get a little too salty halfway through the slice though😬
