You can choose to have the lemonade served in either a lightbulb container or a mason-jar-ish container. Both are made of plastic and both are free to be taken away with you after your meal!

My lightbulb drink came with a light thingy so it really does feel as though the bulb is shining😍 very interesting indeed👍🏼 although it taste more like a fizzy version of Qoo white grape.

Warm chewy pancake (hotteok) drizzled with condensed milk & topped with (?)buttercream. Really love this and almost regretted agreeing to share with my 2 dining companions🙊😆

Just like the lobster roll, this dish came with generous chunks of meat too. Simple and minimalist but flavourful and satisfying👍🏼

Generous chunks of meat and love the dipping mayo that came with it on the side. Slightly garlicky(?) taste to it; extremely addictive! Fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Only wished the bun was softer or more buttery. All's still good though. Would love to go back for this again 😍

The family's favourite place for dim sum - perhaps the only(?) place that still serves dim sum using trolleys. Aunties pushing out different varieties of dim sum and the popular kinds getting swarmed with the enthusiastic diners who decided they cant wait. Very old school. Very old HK. Very authentic ambience(minus their attempt to decorate the place with Xmas-y decor😆).

Personally i don't think ALL their dim sum are that good. The siew mai is definitely good! Generous shrimps and thin dumpling skin👍🏼Close second would be the liu sha bao. The liu sha was a good balance of sweet & savoury and most importantly it is grainy; which in my opinion should always be the case. Those smooth kind just taste so "artificial". I like the ming xia jiao but only when it is still hot when served.

Overall I feel the charm is in the ambience. It is definitely what keeps us going back. There is really no place quite like this anymore here in SG.

These little touches made me so gleeful LOLLL. So cute right? Our table of 2 finished 3/4 of the bean sprouts. AND I DON'T EVEN LIKE BEAN SPROUTS ACTUALLY. But it was honestly addictive. Seasoned with sesame oil(i think?), some chilli thing and sesame seeds. Fragrant and very appetising! And omg free flow kewpie mayo guys😍 love how generous this place is! Oh and you can help yourself to free Japanese barley tea at the entrance while waiting in queue. Ahh bless the good people behind these ideas👍🏼

Chicken Stock Ramen With Flavoured Egg (Original) $13.50 -- Decided to try something different and went for the chicken stock base. The broth was light and sweet but still flavourful enough(i opted for strong flavour). Totally the kind of food to warm your tummy and soul on a rainy day👍🏼 But personally I still feel the tonkotsu kind are more to my liking.

I like garlic. Sis like spicy.
So this half chicken where we can choose up to 2 flavours is just perfect👍🏼

Mini rice burgers - spam, spicy pork & tuna 😋
Aren't these just perfect for trying 3 different fillings in one sitting? or perhaps when you're just feeling indecisive 😆

Possibly my favourite place for Korean food. Just something "homely" about this place (although it's not likely my parents will be cooking Korean food at home).

Shared the dalk galbi (super tender & flavourful chicken & we added ramyeon!) & kimchi stew with Sis & we finished everything *burps*

Just perfect for the recent chilly weather :)))

Original Tiramisu ice cream - wonderfully layered (read --> mascarpone cheese, ice cream, crushed cookies, cocoa powder, coffee liquor, soft serve, cocoa powder again and finally topped with freshly grated chocolate shavings!) Very pretty but it started melting after just 2 pics :(

I love mee tai mak. And I love bah chor mee. So this is like the best of both worlds for me.

I don't fancy century egg though. But it was fried crispy and in small pieces sprinkled over the mee tai mak. So I guess the flavour wasn't as strong or obvious so i personally found it okay.
