Vongole Ppong Just as slurpy, the Italian-inspired “Ppong” packed a good tinge of heat. Spiked with white wine, the soup-ish dish was savoury, hearty and belly-warming. However, topped with briny plump clams, mussels, cabbage, fragrant garlic, and chili, the Vongole Ppong ($20.90/ Ala carte) lacked a little oomph as the broth was pretty mild-tasting on a whole.
