Once again, Chirashi King Kong at Neuros surprised me with their vegetarian menu available only on the 1st and 15th Lunar day of the month.
The vegetarian salmon & tuna sashimi texture tasted identically as the actual sashimi. Love their creativity! Thumbs up for Chirashi King Kong!
Came here for 1 for 1 Beyond.
Decent dining experience but high price tag. Slow service. Will not revisit if there's no beyond vouchers.
The cappuccino has the cutest coffee art!
Personally, I felt the cheese tart is better than other brands!
Used 3 of the 1 for 1 Beyond vouchers for beancurd, vegetable & meat dishes. Was pretty disappointed with the service and food. We've a hard time trying to get someone to take our order & food are mostly bland and lack of seasoning. None of the dishes are worth elaborating. Will not re visit again.
This is my usual place for Cod fish Claypot soup & Chirashi Don. Been a regular customer for this restaurant for at least 10 years. Chirashi Don is always generously sliced with freshness. Despite the inflation, the quality never gives way!
Ordered 5 types of grilled fish
1)Grilled Teriyaki Black Cod ($21.90)
2)Grilled Miso Marinated Black Cod($21.90+)
3)Grilled Dried Atka Mackerel ($14.90++)
4)Grilled Mackerel ($11.90++)
5)Grilled Salmon Belly ($16.90++)
Each set comes with an onsen egg, japanese steamed rice & free flow salad bar. All the grilled fish are with amazing quality and taste. I enjoyed the cod fish & Atka Mackerel the most. It has a buttery taste, crisp on the outside while the flesh are sweet & soft.
The downside will be the extremely long queue. Queued 2 hours on the Friday night!
Total bill: $104
Re visited for their Truffle Cream Chicken Pasta with 1 for 1 Beyond voucher! Worth the price. Total bill at 1 pax at $10 nett. Nice environment and ambience.
Can't remember how many times we visited this shop for the crave of Chirashi Don. Famous for their truffle infused rice & quality served sashimi at affordable price tag.
For a change, I decided to try their scallop spaghetti which usually sold out fast. With minimal of spaghetti left, the owner suggested to do a fusion of spaghetti + signature truffle rice.
Waa surprised on how beautifully it was served. They used the angel hair pasta rather than the usual spaghetti. Infused with truffle oil and serve cold. Enjoyed the pasta + rice combination. Scallops are nicely torched with sweet mayonnaise sauce on the top. Very creative & tasty. Thumbs up! 👍
The high tea platter consists of prawn and crab sliders, sweet potato with quino salad, strawberry éclair, gentlemen designed red velvet cake and assorted scones. It comes with a pot of tea of your choice.
Personally, I enjoyed the scones the most. Scones was served warm and moist with chocolates bit and raisins. Nice! The rest are pretty average.
This is our 2nd visit. Used up all my 1 for 1 Beyond vouchers. Came back again for dinner as my dad really enjoyed the herbal bak kut teh. Food is still pleasant as our last visit! Worth a try!
The only complaint will be the long waiting time despite making reservation at 11.30am & we only get seated at 12.30pm. But, service crews never failed to win back the customer's heart by keeping us entertained with perks through games like sukudo,origami, rubik cube...($6 off dishes with completion per table). We only managed to complete a sukodo & halfway thru the origami part but they still throw in $6 off & free noodle for us.
Food wise, we were happy to see century egg congee in the condiments counter today!👍 Steamboat dishes are still as good. Was surprised that the fruits are fresh & juicy. They even served Korean rock melon! Overall, though is expensive but is totally worth it. Thumbs up hai di lao!
This is a revisit for this restaurant. Tried the Semi Smoked chicken breast, aka bacon wrapped chicken breast and served with mashed potato & vegetables. Chicken breast meat is moist & tender along smoky bacon on the outer layer, It is the perfect combination!
