An original item I have yet to see anywhere else in Singapore. Featuring a pair of golden brown pastry crust cups filled with some truffled mashed potato, chunks of chicken sausage and eggs, these baked delights were tasty and filling. Included as part of the set is a glass of either orange or cloudy apple juice. Add $1 if you fancy a cup of long black.

If you're heading to Manhattan for their first installment of the Sunday cocktail brunch, make sure you sample all five of their homemade cream cheeses: salmon, blueberry, sundried tomatoes, blue cheese, and herb & chive. My favourite combo has gotta be the toasted onion bagel, slathered with blue cheese and garnished with blackforest ham and shaved asparagus.

There's new brunch items on the menu and that's one of the many reasons I'm back here.
Egg-in-the-hole is a must have and I wanna try the hazelnut waffle next time. Happy Sunday Folks!

I like the texture of the egg, lobster and bamboo shoots in the dish. Something different compared to other ramen ingredients. I've tasted better soup base though. #burpple

Highlight of our lunch yesterday. It was warm and you could really taste truffle oil! Very addictive. #burpple

It was only so-so. The one at The Sushi Bar is soooo much better and more value for money. #burpple

Inspired by a certain dish in US which he tasted then to be "the best thing I've had", this is what executive chef Benjamin declares to be the usurper of that title. I can see why - the strange combination of melt-in-the-mouth foie gras on crisp toasted brioche works surprisingly and superbly well with sweet elements of dark chocolate ganache and mashed bananas, crunchy granola crumbs and smokey bacon jam. I don't know if this is THE best thing I've ever had, but it certainly ranks among the top and for a non-foie gras fan like me, that's saying a lot.

This is definitely for lovers of Nutella because it is a lot like their famous Classic Honey Toast but upgraded with everyone's favourite chocolate hazelnut spread. If you concentrate hard enough, you can still detect the honey and salted butter baked into the thick soft slice of Pain de Mie bread under all the Nutella. Also, instead of the honey yogurt gelato that's served with the Classic Honey Toast, this comes with vanilla gelato. So there is none of the light tartness found in the former that I personally like a lot.
In summary, this is good but my heart belongs to the Classic.

Lately every cafe had been serving waffles that I hesitated ordering this, but this is honestly quite the waffle that I had been looking for for a long while. Crispy consistency on the outside, moist in the interior and the wafting scent and taste of Buttermilk so evident. Even the fresh fruits are more sweet than sour. So much oomph that I am convinced that I found the waffle I had long wanted to have.

Got to try out the pancakes at Little Wimbly Lu after hearing all about those served in their main outlet. The eggy batter was delicious with its crispness on the exterior and fluffiness inside; good enough to have with just maple syrup. No wonder it's clearly one of the favourite waffles that locals have been raving about!

Rum& Raisin was deep with alcoholic flavour; definitely would hit with fans of the flavour. Earl Grey was aromatic and soothing. The waffles could have done with a bit more flavour, but we loved that it had a crispy exterior and a fluffy and soft interior.
