Breakfast And Brunch Places
My Monday is COMPLÉTE with artisan ham, French Comté cheese, sunny side up galette and a warm cup of flat white.
There's nothing more classic for brunch than Eggs Benedict. Perfecting this dish is all about timing, the folks did a very good job and substituted smoked salmon with pulled pork for a cheeky twist.
Maple syrup me maybe?
Scallop Barley Risotto with vegetable glaces infused with aromatic saffron kennel broth, served with a side of sweet potato fries.
Grains of Oasis, a new menu item at Arteastiq and also my kind of weekend brunch.
Back at the Crown Bakery with the queen to try some of the new brunch plates and desserts recently launched. Featuring the Maple Banana French Toast topped with fresh strawberries, raisins and a scoop of Haagen Dazs vanilla ice cream on the side.
Corn Nachos piled with house smoked pulled pork and drizzled with mozzarella cheese, olives and chopped chives baked to perfection.
For $13 as a side, the hearty portion might be overly generous. Would recommend 2-3 person to share with your mains.
Crown Bakery, one of the latest cafe at Bukit Timah offers a wide array of bread and pastries, all day breakfasts including this one & only sourdough buttermilk waffle that's crisp and featherlight with a delightful mild tang.
Sidenote, if you still planning to get a classic timepiece from Daniel Wellington, my discount code DwAlain will end by May 15.
Get your teeth sinking into their mouthwatering fried golden mantou with a specially made mentaiko sous vide egg and crispy pappadum crackers. This is a very good twist on the much-loved soft shell crab burger, by replacing regular buns with deep fried mantou.
It actually tasted better when you get your hands dirty, instead of using cutlery.
Earl Grey Cashew Brioche from Crown Bakery made with Japanese wheat flour, French butter and a whole lot of goodness.
The Brioche also comes in almond cream butter. But the Shizuoka matcha is my favorite amongst all, that truly speaks me.
Beginning of the long weekend and MAY everyone have a great time chilling wherever you are. Presenting to you the Lamb Shakshuka from Rise & Grind, a perfect sunrise for the egg lovers.
The perfect Crown Breakfast that's fit for any king and queen or even for sharing, comprising a sunny side up puff pastry centerpiece, red wine braised oxtail, chicken sausage, Canadian back bacon, sautéed mushroom, baked tomato and mesclun salad.
There's two other all-day brunch items such as the Queen's Eggs Ben, Earl Pear Bread Pudding including this Crown Breakfast and other baked goods will be available at the Crown Bakery & Cafe opening on the 29th April, that's just in a few days time.
Crown Bakery Location: 557 Bukit Timah Road, Crown Centre, #01-03, Singapore 269694.
